WOW!! Thanks so much guys for all the support. I appreciate it so much.

Here's my update. I have a cyst and breast calcifications on my left breast. I'm going to have the cyst aspirated next Thursday. The Dr. before examing me said he would do a biopsy but afterwards decided to do the biopsy and while he was in there would take the whole cluster of calcifications out. I'm so relieved by this because otherwise it would be get the biopsy and then if it turned out to be something have surgery again and remove it.

I thought I'd be able to do a sterotactic biopsy which is much less invasive but the calcifications are too close to my armpit and he wouldn't be able to remove the whole thing.

So I'm in much better spirits now. We decided to wait until after the holidays and have the surgery done on January 5th. I'm left handed and I'm going to be a little sore so I don't want this before Christmas. How would I bake and cook!

Thank you everyone and thanks Villette my friend! I felt funny posting asking for well wishes since I haven't been able to be very active lately but I'm glad Villette posted. It was so nice to come home and see all your posts. Very comforting!

GOOD NEWS !! Man the site was down and I was hoping to hear something today and thank you so much for posting girl !! That's the biggest hurdle right ?? Knowing it's not cancer and now you just need to get thru this next phase and you'll be ok ???

I'm so relieved for you and know that must be a huge load off your mind....and don't you dare feel funny about posting here ....I wouldn't have said anything unless I knew it was ok with you ...but am glad I did too

Now you can get more support ...I bet there's someone who's been thru the same thing here. HUGS and keep thinking positive thoughts !!!
