Christmas Card Exchange THANK YOU'S!!!

So here is where the Thank Yous go?? I feel terrible for not finding this thread before Anyways, Thank You Thank you Thank you to all who were so sweet enough to send me, Gianna and Ninna the most beautiful Holiday Cards in my life! This is the first time ever that I was so looking forward to the mailbox each and every day and was never dissapointed... there it was just waiting for me, a beautiful card from one of you!! How totally sweet!! I of course was not prepared for this shower of love and holiday spirit so only sent our cards to my "assigned" exchange buddies. But that is ok, there is always next Christmas where I promise that I will be here to make up for the short order (this is for you Villette - want to secure my order from now so I can be the first on your list!! )

I love you all!! And I am soooo happy to have found this site and so many wonderful wonderful people here! So not only Thank you for the cards, but thank you for being a perfect example of what I wish all people should be!!

Thank you for all those who sent me Christmas cards, they were all very nice and all your yorkies are very cute, but, I have to take this out of my chest, I'm starting to think that you have to send a Christmas card with your yorkie on it so people can tell it's a cute card. Why? well, b/c I sent mine, there were only regular Christmas cards no pictures of Jerome or anything like that just a nice Christmas card, and the only one that say something nice about my card was Denise 517, as for everybody else they either didn't get my cards or they just didn't like them. I even posted something about if you guys getting my cards. No response from any one which is pretty discouraging because you can see how other members keep posting about how much they like this person card and this other members card and you don't read any comments about your cards, yes I may be making a big deal out of this, but that is how I feel. BTW you probably don't care but, I don't think I want to participate next year.

I know I have not came in here and posted my " Thanks" but I will I'm just trying to keep up with everything in my house, but there is one thing I can tell you right now and that is that One card made me stop on my tracks and made me cry......this person did not send a picture so I read the card and realized this person took the time to know something about Me and for the first time I did not feel invisible in this forum.

When I stop crying I went back and read all the cards with pictures cause I had been blinded by all those precious Yorkie's that I didn't read them (Sorry, but truth )...... so don't feel this way because someone out there may be wishing you lost of joy and happiness as a "Thank You" for your special words.

I recieved only one card without a picture and I said my thanks, but i was thankful if i had no picture or had a picture. I am sorry you feel left out, Most of the cards i sent out I got thanks for and some I didn't. I am not worrying about, I had a great time sending out cards and had a blast getting them in.

I want to send a big Thank you to everyone who sent cards! We got really crazy with orders and our regular family stuff just before Christmas. I know that I got some cards late and didn't get a chance to post the thank you.

Well, I am soooo sorry to hear that you felt this way. But I may be one of the ones you sent a card to, and I am sorry for not saying Thank You. But this year, I particiated in quite a few card exchanges, (YT and a few other forums I belong to) and received well over 160 cards this year. Its impossible for everyone to come on here and make a thank you thread for each and
every card they got. I am just NOW catching up on all the threads since December 1. There were times when I didn't get home from working 10-12 hour days and didn't even open my mail for that day, let alone get on the computer. Some people are very busy this time of year, and may have gotten a bit backed up on writing their thank you threads! I for one am one of them. I do feel bad for not thanking everyone persoanlly on here, but I have made a thread thanking everyone in general I got my cards from, and I didn't have a chance to write everyones names I got a card from! I did love ALL the cards, the picture ones and the beautiful Christmas Cards!

So yes, we do care, and sorry if this all hurt your feelings. But this is the Holidays, and this card exchange was supposed to be fun. I am now bummed out that someone would make such a big deal about this, and by doing so, may result in us NOT doing this again next year. I hope not though, for I really enjoyed it, and I was had a ball sending a card out to everyone on the list!!!!!

The card exchange was meant as a fun, nice thing to do. There were no "rules" for a reason. It does not matter what the cards look like at all, it just matters that people wanted to send holiday greetings to others.

I firmly believe that EVERYONE appreciated every single card they received regardless of what was on it. The holidays are about friends, warm wishes, and love------and I think that was achieved with this card exchange.
