| Fake and PRELIT!! Call me weird, but I feel bad for getting a tree that has been growing for years and years and its dried to a crisp in a few weeks. Also, the needles get EVERYWHERE. We had a real tree a few years ago and we found needles for the longest time.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I grew up with fake and I'm use to that. Although I love the real tree smell and would not like the mess. Also, I like to leave it up till the 1st week of January, and reals don't usually last that long. |

| [F]I have always been for a real tree until this year, and I guess its because it is my first christmas on my own and I don't want to have to deal with the clean up. I live in a Condo and the fake tree I got is awsome. If is only 6ft tall but it is prelit and it folds up like an umbrella to take it down. So the only thing I have to do is take the ornaments off. You can't beat that..lol... I guess when it was my parents doing all the work it was a different story...lol...[/FONT] |

| I have always had a fake because I am allergic to the real ones. And I hate cleaning up the mess that the real ones leave behind! Yuck! |

| Always fake. We are highly allergic to the mold that comes with fresh trees Found it out the hard way one year when the Ron and I were both so sick that we had a huge fuss about WHO would drive us and our three sick babies to the emergency room for treatment. The Doc on duty asked us if we had a live tree -- told us to toss it, we did and within a few days we were feeling much better -- with the aid of some high priced meds, of course. |

| I just switched to fake after many years of real trees. After my fully decorated tree toppled over last year....I said forget it! I had to buy a lot of replacement ornaments. |

| I grew up with a fake tree, never knew what it was like to have a real one. The first Christmas hubby and I were married, we started talking about getting our tree. I suggested a fake tree but he would have nothing to do with it - he grew up with a real tree each year. So, off we went to pick out our perfect real tree for Christmas. We had a real tree every year up until about 10 years ago and hubby decided we'd get a fake one. We bought one after Christmas on sale and it was HUGE....really too big for where we put it but at the price, we couldn't afford not to get it. Well, it "bit the dust" last year and I decided I wanted to try another real tree. So we are back to real trees As for keeping it "fresh", I really don't think there's any one thing that works. I check mine every 3 days to make sure it has water, I've added to corn syrup, the honey, the aspirin, you name it and now matter what, it last just as long as plain old water - at least it seems that way to me.

| Real... it wouldn't seem like Christmas, without gathering the kids up in the car and going and pick one out. Everyone just loves it. Plus- - the kids really look foward to it. I have found, that just regular water every 2-3 days.(big pain, but worth it ) We keep our's till after the 3 Kings Day( 1/6) Sometimes, it still looks good, it hurts to throw away.
