here is my recipe. 1 1/2 cups cooked pumpkin 2/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 cups evaporated milk 3 eggs 3/4 tsp cinnamon 1/8 tsp ground cloves 1/4 tsp ginger 1 tsp grated orange peel 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp salt 1 un baked pie shell preheat oven to 425 mix pumpkin sugars, orange peel, and spices in large bowl add evaporated milk and eggs mix all ingredients well. pour pumpkin filling into pie shell bake at 450 fot 15 min reduce heat to 350 and bake for 45 min more you may have to cover with tenfoil after a while to prevent the crust from burning. I'm telling you, there is nothing better then making it from a real pumpkin! | |
