| The outlet mall here opens at midnight. My granddaughter and I are going, mostly just to say we did it! We aren't looking for anything particular, but just wanted to have some fun. I think my hubby may go get in line at Target - he's looking for a 20 inch TV monitor thingy. Wish us luck!

| When my boys were younger, I would get up and "race" to Wal-Mart and KB Toys to get great deals on Santa gifts for them - the year the Razor scooters were so popular, I got them one for $10 at the toy store just by being there at 4 am!! I haven't been to Wal-Mart (bout all we have here) on Black Friday in a couple years or better as my boys are older and as I've gotten older, just not worth fighting the crowds so I pay a bit more and sleep in! This year, I decided to venture out as I wanted to check out the dvd's Wal-Mart had for $1.88, $3.47, and $9.72. I ended up getting both boys a dvd that would have been $20 and I got them each a windsuit for $7 and $10 each - spent $30 and that's all I wanted. Now I'm sitting at work and will be here for the morning getting things done. Unless it's just something I can't live without, I doubt I'll do it again next year - like Villette, I don't really like the crowds.

| 3 A.m. i am so bummed. I was in line at three this morning for one of the 52 inch RCA tv's at Walmart for $474.. Turned out about a thousand other people were too for the same item. We had to get tickets and they drew tickets. It was a huge super walmart and they only had five tv's. That is what is so bad. oh well, my son and I ended up buying two 42" plasma tv's. one for him and one for us. Now if we can only figure the thing out. |

| Good news for me I went to accompany my friend and had nothing in mind. Well, the plan was best buy for the 187 dollar computer. When we got there @ 2am the line curved from the front of the store, to the next 3 stores and into the woods We decided to hit Walmart and when we got there we made #10 in line This year, they did not draw tickets and it was pretty much run in and run back out...........jaja! I got 3 personal DVD players for 49 bucks each (hope my brothers appreciate them). My friend got a tv and DVD player. Next, the mall was about to open and we hit it too. She got a ton of toys for dirt cheap. I got lots of clothes for 75% off and finished my x-mas shopping yay!!!!!

| I was out at Home Depot (with my 79 year-old mother) at 4:30am. I wanted a TV but no luck. When those doors opened people just started running like they were crazy. I was afraid that someone would knock my mother down, well not to worry, she threw her body over the top of a gas grill that she wanted to buy my son for Christmas, and held on for dear life. She said that she had the upper hand because no one expected such a fast response from anyone her age...... |

| This morning my bf and I woke up at 4 and left our house by 4:15. We each took our own car so that we could hit double the places. Luckily I went to stores with hardly any crowd or line. Unfortunately for my bf,he went to circuit city and had to deal with a horrible line. But he eventually got in and got awesome deals on stuff! A few hours after we left our house we met at a delicious restaurant for breakfast. It was a very successful day for us! I think we'll continue to take our own cars in the future. As much fun as it is to shop with someone else, we got more ground covered in the same amount of time.
