Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | The Garden is Grown - Birds Watch Out ! Well..after alot of work planting - The garden and veggies are growing and coming in....keeping Chanel & Cheri and the birds out is another story I wanted to share my scarecrow tactics with you all....Last year I had to do something about the birds eating the tomatoes - and since Chanel and Cheri have 3 monkeys .....they shared their toy - under duress ...but they did share after I convinced them that their OTHER monkeys were better to play with. This is what's in my garden again to ward off the freeloaders who think my veggies are free for the picking ! In case anyone wondered...lol...sure you were wondering ....does this work ? I'll answer before being asked - YES !! After monkeycrow went up - no more birdy teeth marks in the tomatoes ! This is last years pic - but it looks exactly the same out there now !

| LOL! That is so funny. A moneycrow. I'll try that. I have some plants growing and the birds keep attacking it for some reason.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Lol.....Everyone thought I was nuts - but after trying Cheesecloth and other covers...the wind or something would leave gaps - I tried this and it really did work - no one believed me till I showed them tomatoes without that ONE hole in each one ....so yes...it's back this year and Chanel & Cheri are no in cahoots on who's going to be the monkey saver and get him off the stick ! |

| What a great idea!! A Monkeycrow! That's the funniest thing I have ever seen in anyone's garden! Good job ... I would think that Chanel & Cheri would help scare off those birds!?

| So that really works, huh? My grandsons have some stuffed monkeys...maybe I'll have to talk them out of one! Do you think it would work to keep rabbits out too? |

| I don't know if I'm more astounded that it actually WORKS or if you came up with the idea. That's hilarious! |
