So I had my ultrasound today.... And it's a GIRL!!! Either that, or the father helped produce a boy that isn't very well endowed...don't know that that's possible! tmi....anyway, it looks like I'll be having a little girl in March!

Congratulations. since the father doesn't want to be involved, I'm happy that it's a girl. I have a grand child due in March and another one due in May. As of yet, we don't know the sex of either.

Good luck Jeanie- let me know when you know! I don't know your family, but there is something exciting about knowing the sex. I didn't cry, but I had that same sense of emotion when I was watching the big screen monitor they had her on during the examination. She's developed SOOO much, it's unbelieveable how fast they grow! Even though I'm still not a 100% on my decision either way, I'm aware of more options that I have now than ever and my decision has certainly swayed...I found myself to be very excited when they were doing my ultrasound measurements and so on, which made me relax and really give this whole situation some more thought. I think my *gut* is telling me what to do. I've never really followed that *voice*...and you know the saying. "There's a first time for everything.", well, I may have to do just that. So far I've tested negative for Downs and Cystic Fybrosis and the development is going nicely. Here's to hoping for a healthy baby girl!

I am the momma of 3 boys and I would never trade a one of them but I always get a little excited about baby girls! Thankfully, my oldest son has given me two beautiful granddaughters! Best wishes for continued healthy pregnancy and a smooth delivery of a healthy, happy baby girl!

| i knew i would have a girl and what she would look like as soon as i found out i was preggy! i also knew at 7 months she was breech because she had a huge head and they did a ultra sound to check what i had told them..by then she was too big to turn around. anyways before they even checked i knew what my baby was going to be and she was born with dark hair & blue eyes they changed though to like a draker hazel brown colour now just like i said she would be but she weighed more than i could have ever guessed!! 9lb 3oz whoa! she's now 3 1/2 already! here's my little monster i mean toddler http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...1/IMG_2216.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...ters1/sav2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...1/IMG_1767.jpg i love her but honestly i did not want a baby up until the day i actually had her when you hear their 1st cry it will change your life forever from that moment on! she can be a little terror but also sweet as sugar but then again can't we all!! good luck! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...vanah20bkg.gif

Thanks everyone. I'm 23 weeks along now...I'm still in knots trying to decide whether or not to keep her or adopt her out. I'm going to have an ulcer before she's even born! The father isn't being very helpful at all either in regards to my stress level. *sigh*

Just wait until you see her for the first time. There's not a word to describe how you feel. Best wishes and good luck with your decision.
