In our local paper it showed the people standing in line with a short story about them getting the game system. Every single one of them was buying it to resell at a higher price. I think they were $599 here at Wal Mart.

There are about 85 pages on ebay of playstation 3's. I think they're basically all for sale there. The average will most likely be about $2,000. No one will get the $5,000 and up prices they're asking, I'd bet on it. I saw a couple for buy it now under the $2,000 mark.

My kids have every system and I am smart enough to know better than to buy one as soon as it comes out. The bugs and problems they have when they're first launched are ridiculous. Even if you get the 2nd or 3rd generation. We're on our 3'rd playstation 2 and second xbox-that tells you well they're made

I'm also not sure how well blu ray will do as far as dvd's. Anyone remember Divx?

This is just insane! I thought e-bay was putting a cap on how high they could go? and...don't people that sell say,,,,baseball game tickets at the game for outrageous prices, get arrested for this? isn't that called scalping? what do you call this? I don't feel bad for the people buying them..that is there choice but, I don't think it's right that they can rip people off like this.
