I understand what you mean. I usually try to avoid those type of threads because I don't like all the negativity. There's no reason for them.

I don't speak for everyone , but I will say my two cents. I do believe that some people start crap on purpose knowing darn well where it will end up. I think some people start "heated" threads to try to solve differences and really want them to turn out nice. And I also believe that newbies ask questions that they truly want answered (may be dumb questions to some ) but the thread ends up heated. Do I make sense? LOL

I think that happens alot too...newbies who are just learning post a question and then people on here tend to disagree with how one handles something and then the flame throwing commences. Most of the threads where I have seen flames...and I try to stay away from that section now.....is the yorkies for sale threads. Sometimes a person posts and everyone is so worried about scammers that the thread goes the wrong way because they are trying to protect people from being scammed. It makes it hard for the person selling their pups to find a good home for them because potential forever homes have been scared away by the questions some people are asking.

I really think the yorkies for sale thread should be strictly for sale threads and if a person thinks something is fishy about the posts there then admin should be notified and it handled privately and not plastered all over the boards. JMO The thread could always be removed before the flame wars start.

Funny, I see certain people give answers, and it's OK. I see other people give the same answers and get flamed for responding. It was "not nice" or "off topic" or just wrong. Funny how things work. I'm trying very hard to ignore things more and not let it get to me so badly....not saying I'm always succeeding, but at least I'm trying.
Try not to let it get to you that much. I have found that most of the people that get upset with the answers don't stay around long anyway....they get their quick answer, or sell their underage pups and leave.

You said the key word!! Try! I think that some people just jump...I know I'm guilty of that sometimes in the "off the forum" world. I also try really hard to keep my big fat mouth shut, but sometimes I don't succeed.

I understand what you're saying. I think it's to the point that people get fed up and rant and vent other places. My not be "private" as you preach here, but at least it's keeping it off THIS forum, right?

Just too bad if people decide to leave, this is by far the biggest and best Yorkie forum out there and I think you'd never be able to come accoss a bigger or better group of yakkers willing to lend an ear or advice.

this is exactly what I have been talking about that no one seeems to understand. And it is usually started by one or two of the same people that YOU KNOW have no intention of buying. So, again, why are theey theree in the thread?
