| SHowing my age..UGH...SKin creams? Ill be 40 this March and the last couple yrs I have really started to show my age! I use lotion on my face everyday but its nothing special. My skin just looks washed out and dull. Anyone use any of the anti wrinkle creams for fine lines and do they actually work! I saw an informerical.........LOL............on natural advantage......anyone use that? I dont spend much money on myself, but I would consider something a little pricey if it meant it was simple without a bunch of steps and it works!! |

| You should go see a dermatologist. You would be so surprised how many non-invasive procedures they have out now for wrinkles. And sooo many prescription creams. You said you never spend any money on yourself....pamper yourself by going to a dermotologist and get some work done. That is what I would do. I am 23 years old, but the cream I use for acne also works wonders to prevent and correct wrinkles. It is called Retin-A. Many older women who obviously don't have acne use this stuff because of the wonders it does on wrinkles. It is only available by a prescription, though. You should look into it. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've been using Retin-A and man what a difference ...Also - Carolyn - brutus'mama sells Arbonne products that are outstanding ...I alternate the 2 and I've totally changed my skin.... I hit 48 and man did my whole body change but my face and makeup is so so much better now with these 2 products. Avon anew is a good product line too but I prefer the prescription strength of the Retin-A - but there is NO going in the sun when you use it. hahahaha REBECCA - I just saw your post on Retin-A and you're only 23 ??? You're a baby - what are you using that on your face for girl - you don't know what a wrinkle is !!! hahahaha man - 23 ??? you just left puberty lol |

You are right! I did just leave puberty! And that is why I use Retin-A....because I still have ACNE!!!!!!!! But the fact that it prevents and corrects wrinkles is all the more reason for me to use the stuff, right?! But you are absolutely right...NO GOING IN THE SUN!!!!!!! But, if you are trying to correct wrinkles, no matter what cream you are using, you should not be in the sun. That is what CAUSES wrinkles for goodness sake! But seriously, I'm 23 years old, but most people think that I'm not old enough to drive. I'm not kidding either. I think it is because of the Retin-A. It does WONDERS for your skin. My face seriously feels like a baby's butt. My hubby loves to rub his hands on my face because it is so incredibly soft and supple. I love the stuff and will ALWAYS use it! Yeah, I may look 15 now, but when I'm 50, I'm sure I'll appreciate it!

What you are describing is rosacea. You should seriously consider going to a dermatologist bc if you don't treat those red marks now, they will become worse, to the point where the only thing that will get rid of them is a laser. You don't want that. Luckily, Retin-A is also prescribed for rosacea!!!!!! Nip that in the bud early so you don't have to go through so much later. My friend is having to get her rosacea lasered off next week. She is not excited about it.
