and yes - my skin CHANGE Drastically when I got the Retin A and the Arbonne product from Carolyn - I won't ever use anything else.

and Rebecca - I lived on the beach - was in the sun my whole life - I used to be a swimmer - AAU and all that - Diving too - and believe me - I AM scared of sun damage but so far so good.

I grew up at the beach, too. There every weekend during the school year and practically lived there during the summers. I used to get so black that people would think that I was bi-racial. I'm not kidding either. Luckily I have olive skin, so maybe my skin took the beating better than a blonde-haired blued-eyed girl would. But still, I'm nervous to see what the effects on my skin will be. I'm trying to have some damage control by using the Retin-A. And NO MORE SUN for me!!!!! I tanned the few months before my wedding, but that was it. That was the last time I'll get into the sun without some major protection on.

hahahahaha - I'm saying this as nice as I can -
when I get in the sun - my friends call me The Mexican in the Fright Wig ....... NICE huh ??? Actually I named my own self and it stuck - and no I don't wear a wig but the sun sure can do that to your hair.....

My skin turns dark brown - my hair WHITE..I have pictures but will NEVER Show those to anyone lol...but I spent YEARS doing that - I hope it doesn't bite me in the butt too - I figure I'd see the damage by now .....but girl - I'll tell you - when you get to be my age - it's not your skin that hurts its HORMONES - man oh man - that's a whole different subject

I'm the true deffinaition of a WHITE girl! LOL! All though, in my younger years I layed out in the sun ALL DAY. Since my mom has been diagnosed with skin cancer and has lost one of her fingers to it because it was to the bone, and has to go every 3 months for a whole body check (she just had seven more spots removed this week) and she has more spots that have to be removed every time she goes :( But anyways....since she has been battling this I woke up and have stayed out of the sun for 3 years now. We even have a pool but I manage to stay a white girl :) I've discovered self tanners. I never thought I'd be worrying about my skin, but as time goes on you find yourself more concerned about wrinkles and skin cancer, rather than looking hot in those daisy dukes!

Where do you purchase your Rentin-A?

I am so sorry to hear about your mother. :( The good news is that they removed the cancer before it got out of control.

I feel the same way. I would rather look good with no wrinkles when I'm older than to bake myself now.

You can only get Retin-A through a prescription from your dermotologist.

OK, guys...here are the pics from a before/after from our Arbonne Anti-aging kit. I don't actually know this lady, but I know someone that does.

Here's the story behind it.....

"I met Holly when I was vacationing. I asked Holly's mom if she would use the Arbonne RE9. She wasn't too interested in using the product because her skin was so damaged but agreed to help her daughter out. Holly decided to apply product to one side of her mother's face. Take a look at her pictures and feel free to share. When people say it is too late because they are too old. This may get them to think again."

Is it gentle? What ingredients are in it? What products come in the "kit"?

Yes, it's gentle. I can send you a list of ingredients if you want.

I've just started using the anti aging kit myself. I was using the acne kit which was VERY gentle. It compares to Proactive, but I couldn't use that myself, because it made my skin raw. I had no reaction to the Arbonne.

Villette, you look amazing!! I would use anything you are using bc your complexion is beautiful!!! You are beautiful in the inside and the outside!!! I use LaMer cream and have noticed the difference alot! Also a cream rec by my dermatologist for breakouts and wrinkles called Tazorac. But I would definetely go to a professional for best advise since all skins are different! :)

this is the one I have and LOVE IT ! It's really light and makes your skin glow right thru your makeup - I swear by it now - and Carolyn was who I got mine from - THANK YOU FRIEND !!

and that before and after picture of that woman is AMAZING ! We never get too old to care about our skin I see lol -

I know...there are so many people who think it's too late to start taking care of their skin. But it's NOT!!!

I offer a discount to YTers, too. And I'm putting together some awesome baskets for Christmas gifts. There's some special stuff just for Christmas. And I'll do baskets for any of the other products, too. I'm doing the flier for it this week. I'll send it to anyone that's interested. Just PM me.

To be honest it's not right for everyone. I've had people have a reaction to it with redness and such, so I do recommend trying a sample of the product for at LEAST 3 days. That being said the percentage of my clients having a reaction is minimal but it does happen so I suggest trying it first. But if you're in the majority that love the product that's the only product you'll ever use.

If you would like to try a sample of the complete RE9 anti-aging system let me know. The only thing missing in the sample packet is the Transforming Lift which I have to say is my favorite! PM me if you want to try it.

The best thing you can do for those fine lines is drink plenty of water. Coke Coffee and smoking will all take their toll, and I've done them all. (The Coke that you drink, not the other stuff.) LOL

They did a consumer product review on creams and such, and the consumer specialist said that Cetaphil cream is as good as all the speciality creams. I've used it for years. It helps with feet and elbows and any other problem areas. I use it all over after my shower.

I'm no where near as gorgeous as Villette, so I won't post my Picture. I have 10 years on her.

I agree that trying a sample is the best thing to do first. Some people DO have a reaction to it, but it is hypoallergenic, so most wont. But it does happen. And I personally have also had people who initially did, but after using it for a few days didn't anymore. Some people just have a reaction just because they change from what they have been using. So I agree that a sample is the best way to go.
