| Ticked about new cabinet doors I ordered some new cabinet doors to match the ones in my kitchen that was "add on" cabinets. After putting 2 coats of stain on them, I was ticked. The "front" side, looked so spotty and ugly, and back side looks great! I think someone screwed up and put the design on the back side of the wood, instead of the front! I know the fronts are now totally unacceptable. Looks like I need to make a call to them Monday, and see if the forman can look at them, and tell me whats going on. I'm mad. I still have 6 more I need to order to make my whole kitchen match. |

| I took them out there so the foreman could look at this. I showed him the back side looked great, but the front side was spotty. I didn't come out and say "I think someone made a mistake and put the design on the wrong side". I let him make that assessment. I also took a door off my newer side that I'd done several years back, showing him my other newer doors didn't come out spotty like the ones they did for me. I did also mention, I have 6 more that I need made to make my whole kitchen match. So they are redoing my whole order!! Hoping this time, they won't be "spotty". We both examined the doors, and some of the spots were nowhere near the "knots" that are in the wood. They were made of birch veneer. I'm just so happy that I won't be charged and they are redoing them! Someone screwed up somewhere! |
