What hobbies do you do? (Besides your Yorkies) I'm just wondering what hobbies every one has...:confused: I am a Christian and go to bible study ever week...I lead the music with my trusty guitar!:D I am an artist. I love pottery (Wheel and hand building) I have taken painting, mosaics, drawing, design, and I like 3D work. I take college art classes when ever I can to learn more... I teach art to home school kids... I have 24 students. :artist: I play guitar (self taught since I was 18) and I take voice lessons. :note: I am 46 but very young at heart.:yay_jump: I like to ice skate, bowl, movies (Scarey are my Fav) I like to walk, camp, and play in snow!!! :cold smil I am very out going and LOVE to talk!!! I HATE to cook, I only like to clean when no one is home so I can blast my music! I think I might be a little OCD...I know I'm little crazy...Ok maybe a little more that a little crazy!!!! Wow, you are busy. :) You do seem young at heart and loads of fun. I enjoy anything home decorating or real estate related. I have not done too much lately as this last year has been awful. I have felt betrayed in the worst way by family and just feel like I am just surviving but once this is all over there is so much I would like to do. A pottery class seems like something I would enjoy. |
Sorry to hear your having a hard time... Pottery is really fun.. Messy, if your the prissy type that doesn't want to get dirty you won't like it BUT... It is so much fun and your making art out of mud!!! Pretty cool. You should take a class when things slow down!;) |
I go out wit friends, go to the movies, hang with my bf, go shopping, or window shopping lol, i like to read, if i have money i take yoga, or pilates or dancing classes for fun |

Well, let's see.... I teach yoga and pilates as an occupation that evolved out of a hobby. I coach high school girls and junior high swimming. I sing in a small Christian folk-type group, we do masses at three different churches as well as special events. I love music in general... I like to sew and am making doggie nightgowns/nightshirts to sell. I like to read for pleasure when I have the time, I read yoga and pilates publications to stay current on developments. I like to travel as much as possible!!! I don't like cooking cause my hubby is a very picky eater and cooking for him is soooo boring, but I recently did a visit to Meals in Minutes and bought some entress that I put together (for myself) and as long as I have something from that in the freezer to make up, I look forward to it!! I also love to bake, but I try to not do it often as I end up eating the majority of what I bake!! |
After spending time w/ Rocky, theres no time for anything else! J/K! I like to go shopping, go out with my friends, spend time with my family (I'm a total family person), LEARN how to ride when the weather is warm, go swimming, go clubbin, and read, even though it's been so long since I've had time to sit down and read. Traveling is fun too when I can afford it. |
I like to paint, not that good but I like the results. I have paint shop pro which is like photo shop, I make siggy tags for friends online. I like sewing and trying any crafts.:) |

After spending time with Coco and my b/f... 1. I used to be a performer...ballet dancer...I had to retire but now I take classes during the week, I dont perform anymore. 2. Horseback riding (in good weather). I used to do it everyday but since I've gotten Coco I've only gone a few times. I was learning dressage and jumps when I stopped. 3. Scrapbooking 4. My honey and I play tennis together on the weekends 5. Rollerblade 6. hang out with friends and go shopping when I have money :rolleyes: |
I am an avid gardener, that is my favorite hobby. I also like to read. In my old life, I had my own business where I made ceramic bisque for contemporary ceramic studios. I sold my business when I moved from TX to Wa, but kept my kiln and slab roller and some basic molds for myself, so I do that occasionally as well, but not as much as I thought I would...guess I burned myself out, LOL! I just bought a sewing machine and I am going to teach myself to sew, it should be interesting!!:D |
Lets see...I enjoy traveling, photography, cross stitch, drawing, writing children's books/poetry and remodeling houses. We collect miniature, antique American made baskets so we take road trips shopping for them when we can and we also collect, clean, restore and repair antique quilts so we take a lot of road trips chasing quilts too...we spend a lot of time at auctions, antique malls, antique flea markets and estate sales. Other than that I just enjoy hanging out with my husband of 25 years and my2boyz doing whatever we want for the day. |
Read YT Cooking but its getting boring due to hubby being a picky eater so its not much fun for me. Would love to learn to dance again if I have the money.Love dancing, was a rhythmic gymnast. Going to nightmarkets but there is none here. Can't think of anything else just yet..I am boring! |

Let's see....I watch a ton of sports, planning my weekend around them usually. Also, my mother and I make a Disney Scrapbook for each trip we take down there (which) is usually 2 per year, so we spend time together doing that some. |
There is so much that I keep busy with! I used to compete in fitness/figure competitions but took some time off (hope to start a family in a year or so) - but still workout, yoga, pilates, weights, etc. I love baking, cooking and entertaining! Also gardening, biking, re-finishing furniture, shopping and traveling as much as possible. I write when I have time and have been published in a couple of magazines for fitness articles and also work related research pieces. I'd love to read more - only seems to happen on vacation. Jaxon is a huge priority in my life - we take lots of walks, get out to doggy classes and events, and also attend the monthly meet up group in Boston. I hope to take some sewing classes this winter so I can learn how to make clothes for him. :D |

Horseback trail riding, keeping my barn clean, playing with my 4 dogs, swimming, running, lifting weights. My horse is by far my favorite. Vainchick, you should take up trail riding and take your furbaby with you! I used to take my 6 lb poodle in a back pack on trail rides and she LOVED it. Haven't had a chance to try with Indy yet. |
I love to read. Iris Johansen is the greatest author ever! If you've never read "The Ugly Duckling" by her, DO IT!!! It's phenom!!! I love to cook (hate to clean :rolleyes: ). But reading... definitely my favorite thing to do. :) |
Wow! We all have a lot more in common that just yorkies! I too love to read, especially fiction. My favorite authors are John Irving, Jennifer Weiner, Jane Austen, and J.K. Rowling. I'm taking ice-skating lessons at long last (I'm 25 and have always wanted them) and they're AWESOME! I also take ballet once a week. I'm a musical theatre actress, so enjoy anything to do with singing, dancing, and acting. Especially singing ... And I'm more of a stay-at-home type of person, so I like to spend time relaxing or walking with Curt and our yorkie, Teddy. :aimeeyork :) |
Dirt Bike Riding-the whole family, everyone has a bike, me, hubby, daughter-11, son-8, and son-5. Wakeboarding-just the adults it’s nice to do something with just adults! Shopping-Just me, with my daughter, or with friends, it doesn’t matter I love shopping! Computers-I love building them and updating mine with all the cool new stuff out Competitive Cheerleading for my daughter and Baseball/ Soccer :soccer2:for my sons Watching movies Working out Trying to finish up my Associates in Computer Networking And so much more |
When I have free time :rolleyes: I enjoy crocheting, card making, reading, watching movies, working outdoors, and spending time with family. Oh... and spending MORE time with Penny, of course! |
I enjoy painting, playing on the computer, crocheting. I need to spend more time reading! I enjoy working outside; we just built a new home and it's been fun landscaping from scratch. I also spend a lot of time watching Lifetime movies! |
4 Attachment(s) other then yorkies my boyfriend and i have a frog business and we sell dart frogs . attache are some pictures of the frogs : when i first met my boyfriend i thought the frogs were gross LOL but i grew to love them, like my boyfriend grew to love and adore the yorkie babies :) i mean you dont hold them or play with the frogs, these frogs have such beautiful color and they stay in the tanks ...anyway here are some pics of the frogs to see if you are intersted :) |

I knit, workout, do housework and cook(hate both), take walks in the fall, read, but spending alot of time trying to housebreak two dogs, one's a Yorkie, other a Mi-Ki. I love going to the malls and meeting friends for lunch usually sushi, window shopping and visiting knitting stores and viewing all the new yarns. I'm basically boring. I love it when I'm alone in the house with just the dogs and all is peaceful. I'm tired of accommodating my human family, will be married 46 years in Dec. Jessica |
