| I only had 2 little kids come this year. I was disappointed. Last year I had alot of kids. I also had alot of high school kids trick or treating. One was even smoking while she was at my door. Then they all threw dough balls at my vehicle after I gave them handful of candy. I don't know why this town allows that. My oldest son was hit with a dough ball in his face and my second oldest was hit in the leg with one. I am not happy about it at all and think next year we may not go trick or treating or give out candy. On a positive note I took my kids trick or treating and took Kitty with us. She went as a princess and I went as her servent. She even got a treat from one of my neighbors.

Don't feel bad - I didn't have any either - but we've never had any at our house in the almost 10 years we've lived there! We live in the country, house sits waaaay back off the road, and it's a dark driveway til you get closer to the house. Guess they either are scared to drive back or figure no one is home. We bought candy the first 2 years we were in the house and after that, I've not bought anymore. I told people at work yesterday if I ever have any show up, all I'll have to offer them is dog treats..LOL!! Seriously, I do buy a bag of candy just in case - and if no one comes by, my boys split it. Sorry you didn't have any trick or treaters stop by

We didn't have very many trick-or-treaters either, maybe 15 tops? I think being a school night, being cold and lots of events over the weekend before slowed it down. It's hard to know how much candy to buy, you just never know how many are going to come.

| slowly holds out her plastic pumpkin uhmmm "trick or trat" we couldn't find hardly anyone here at all doing it they had their lights off and nobody was out anywhere except one street downtown. it's kinda upsetting because i remember getting tons of candy and lots of people doing it for halloween when i was a kid, it seems to have tapered off..my little girl loved it though ,she was wanting to run to the next house .she's 3 1/2 she walked a really long way with no fuss or problems. i just wish more pople would get into it around here.

| I think I had a tolal fo 6 kids come to our house. I took my daughter out trick or treating, and I noticed hardly anybody had there light on. I would guess 2-3 houses per street had lights on. Some even had decorations, but nobody was home to give out candy. I feel the the tradition of trick or treating is fading away, due to society issues (i.e. child predators and crime). Which is really sad and tragic. |

| I took my daughter downtown where all the businesses/merchants were handing out candy. It was really nice but there were soooooo many ppl we spent alot of time waiting in line. I left Adam at home w/3 bags of candy and we didn't get a single kid! More candy for us... My daughter did get a couple big candy bars (jackpot!). |

| We have a lot of trick or treaters every year, but I knew since last week that I was going to work late last night and my husband has school on tuesday nights, so I didn't even bother on buying candy, I knew we weren't going to be able to hand out candy. It stinks b/c I has requested off or a least get off early on halloween, but we are short handed that I was asking for an impossible at this point. We haave a pretty good crowd every year. I have ran out of candy a few times. I guess because there are a lot of young families in our neighborhood.
