| Advice/Comments/Opinions Wanted! Okay.. sooo last week I switched my major at college to Business Administration and I'm thinking I'm going to specialize in Management or I'm just going to take courses for a little bit of everything in the business field.. I want to open my own Doggy Daycare, Boarding Kennel, Pet store (no puppies or animals - basically supplies, good dog food) etc etc.. But it won't be like the typical boarding where they are put in kennels all day and fed twice a day.. They will be able to interact with each other in a "house" type set up.. The pestore will kind of be out in the front and then the housing area will be behind the petstore Soo.. I was thinking again.. What happens if we have problems with behaviorial issues?? I was thinking about enrolling in the Animal Behavioral College.. It's website is www.AnimalBehaviorCollege.com. That way I could train as well as doing the business stuff.. Yeah.. big dreams I know.. But what do you think? I was going to finish college and get a job, then start the behavior college thing and save up money until I complete that and then start working on my own "business".. If you look at the Animal Behavior College.. are there any opinions on it? Does it look like they can give you a promising certificate?? I'm open to opinions, comment, etc.. I need some input on this! |

| Hi there! If you don't mind my asking, where are you going to college now? I live in PA also. Here are my thoughts as a recent college grad: Try to pick a major or school that keeps your options open. I think it's a better idea to stick with the major in Business Adminstration. You can do anything with that! You could always read up on animal behavior or hire someone to help you with that. A business degree is a great thing to have in your back pocket.

| Mount Aloysius in Cresson.. I like it there.. small school. Its the closest thing for me to commute rather than Penn State University. Plus at the Mount, you're not just a number. You can get more individual help if you need it.. My mom is the General Manager at our local Denny's Restaurant and I grew up there "helping mom out" and kind of decided to go that route... |

| It looks to me like it would be good training. It says all the Petco trainers go through that shcool. I would send for information from several Dog Training schools and sit down and compare them. Perhaps even call your local humane society and ask if any one there has any opinions on it. |
