| Science Fair Project Ideas My daughter Lauryn is in 7th grade and was wanting to do a science fair project this year using yorkies. Any ideas on what she could do. We have access to yorkie puppies too from Jill. She is just in love with Maddie and was really wanting to do a project using her or different yorkies. She has won the science fair 2 years in a row. Please help us. We cant think of anything. Remember, there has to be ways of testing the theory. |

| There has been alot of talk lately that Yorkies can be certified to be therapy dogs - ya know, soothing erratic emotions. Blood pressure lowers, the images in the brain would change, serotonin would increase, as well as, many other chemicals affecting the brain. Then you could ask people to hold or pet the yorkies and see if they felt enhanced. Plus don't people just automatically smile when they see a yorkie? Good Luck!!! |

| I think the scenario of testing whether yorkies "pets" lower blood preassure or something like that would be great!

| Maybe your daughter can do her research project on whether or not "green" eyes in a camera flash indicates silky coat and "red " eyes indicates a cotton coat. or Maybe she could do some research on which food treat gets the quickest results in training a specific command. |

The mouth being cleaner is a GREAT idea..... she could swab the yorkie mouths and then the mouths of the pups and then her friends......LOL that could be a lot of fun.... | |

| So far, the ideas all sound great. Is there anything maybe comparing Yorkies to other small breed dogs? Maybe like comparing their traits, personailities, etc? - Boy, I don't know??!! I'm interested in seeing what everyone comes up with though! Good luck!
