| I'm not exactly sure how they price everything, but I once put something up for auction starting at $200 and they charged me about 5 dollars. Paypal also takes a little percentage of that. Actually, I just got an e-mail from Ebay and tomorrow is 20 cent listing fee...so no matter what you list it costs 20 cents i believe.

| I have been selling on ebay for a few years. They charge for a bunch of different things. Listing in more than one category costs money. First picture is free, then after that you pay for your pictures. Placing your ad in bold costs money. All the little ad ons cost. Just to do a basic ad with one picture will only cost you a buck or two. Then you get charged a final value fee..depending on what it sells for and paypal charges a small fee if you use that, which is the most secure way to send and recieve money. All in all it shouldnt cost you too much to list it and the rest of the fees will depend on what the final value is on the item that you sold. Its very fun to watch your auction..go for it!! If it doesnt sell you can relist it once and you will get back your second listing fees only if it sells... Its not as confusing as I made it sound....really lol Dawn |
