| Looking for a new "do"...... My daughter & I are looking for a website or program or something that let's you upload a basic head shot picture and then you get to add different hairstyles, colors, etc. - So, you can see a style before you comment to an actual hair cut. We have seen a few websites, but they charge a membership fee and then some even charge a fee (untop of membership fee) for the "virtual hairstyler". Is there anything out there that is free to play around on or is there anything we could buy (instead of worrying w/ fees)? Can anyone help? - We are desperate for a new style! Thanks!!!!

| We looked alittle this afternoon on "teen" sites, but most everything had a membership....I was hoping there would be something without a membership. I always searched for software and came up with a few, but they were for younger kids, like Barbie, etc. There just has to be something out there.......

| Thanks for helping in my search......I have a yahoo account just for things like this (so my daily email doesn't get polluted with spam & such). I will check into it more.....I just know there is a program out there somewhere.....some software that you can buy, then, we can share it with friends, etc. I seen this years ago, but now can't find it. (course, it would help if I remember what it was called or who made it). I think there is one salon in my area that offers computerized images, but I believe the first image is free and then they charge so much for each image after that. I would just rather do it at home, when I had time to play around with it. Thanks again, maybe someone out there can think of something! If I find anything, I will post!

| I used to have a program that was exactly for this!! It was a Cosmopolitan Virtual Makeover program that I bought at Office Depot or a store like that. I'm pretty sure it was about $10.00 but that was a couple of years ago. You could change the color, style, add highlights, and even put makeup and stuff on. Hope this helps!! Just don't get addicted like me. I've dyed my hair soo many times!! I'm a natural Blonde who has been Black, Purple (on accident), Brown, Red, Blonde and every shade in between in just the last year! Lol, currently brown though for the winter! |

| I go to ivillage.com and type in virtual makeover. It's $14.95 for three months (they do NOT bill you after the 3 mths is over). You can upload as many photo's as you want and try out TONS of different hairdo's/colors. It's AWESOME!!! They have tons of different celebrity styles to choose from as well so it's for trendy/fashionable. I spent hours and hours on it and was able to print off the pictures and take them to my stylist. It's amazing to see the transformation and how different you can look w/shorter hair, or longer hair... curly, blonde/red... |
