| 3 sisters gift baskets So my sister in law has this idea for us girls in the fam to start selling gift baskets online...they arent so into dogs as i am and so they are wanting to make like bath gift baskets and holiday ones and stuff like that...i would like to do a pet one if they would be up to it and wondered first of all if you think anyone would buy those kind of things...and second of all what kind of stuff would you put in a pet gift basket...we are gonna have baskets along with hand painted large bowls that she paints and then everything in them is hopefully going to be hand made...like savs, potpouri (sp), sachets, bath salts, and stuff like that. my sister angelee makes very nice sav and patty is a ver good artist so she will do the bowls, and i can sew a little so thats where i come into play...so heres another question...she liked the name of our website to be 3sistersgiftbaskets.com and i would like to have something kind of clever or something that has a ring to it...any ideas on a cute catchy name for our website? thanks for the input all

| I think there would be an interest on YT for doggie gift baskets! Maybe you could get recipes for doggie treats and decorate them based on the season - fall, christmas, spring, 4th of july, birthday, etc. Also you could put in doggie toys and leashes/collars. I think you could really make a killing around the holidays b/c so many of us buy presents for our dogs and our friend's dogs. There are so many cute holiday related things you could do! Oooh.. what about doggie ornaments? Haha.. obviously I like this idea. Good luck! Post on here if you decide to do it!

| I think that is an awesome idea! A pet one would be great for someone getting a new puppy...have things like treats, a book on training or yorkies..something like that. And I like the idea of a doggy ornament..that is a great idea. most of us are suckers for things for our furbabies...so yep, the pet ones are a great idea. I love trying to think of cute names for things...so I may get back to ya on a name for the site, LOL Good luck with this!

| I think it is a great idea. I bet you could even contact pet stores and some would carry your pet gift baskets. Girl, you will have business running out your ears if you could get the stores interested. |

| GREAT...well my sister in law that came up with the idea doesnt like the pet ideas and thinks that if i want to do it then i can create my own website and link to it off of theirs...i said thats crap..if we are spending the same money to get this going and naming it 3 sisters then its gonna be even for what we all want to do...so what we have talked about so far is just starting out with bath baskets for the ladies, the men, and the young ladies..and if those sell and it takes off then we are gonna do chocolates, candies, hopefully pets, holidays, soaps, candles, potpouri, sav, eventually hand blown glass beeds and a few other things...we arent doing it for a couple months i dont think because of the cost to start it but as soon as i know any news on whats going on i will let you all know on here. im glad you all think its a good idea and any sugestions on what kind of stuff to make and add will be good...we are hoping to have everything hand made by us or friends if possible...oh if anyone knows where to find decent quality baskets for a decent price will you please let me know...you should see the bowls and plates that my sister in law paints...they are awesome...i think we are going to give the option of having the gifts in a plain basket or a hand painted wood bowls...i dont know for sure what kind of wood they are but i know one of the woods she uses is myrtlewood...they are beautiful...ok thanks for the input

I think that, that sucks. If you are going to all be equals you should be able to put whatever you want in the giftbasket. Each one of you should be able to come up with one. If it were me I would have to have a heart to heart with her but, that's just me. Good Luck and keep us posted on how it goes.

| Please let her know I know for a fact there is a market for this! Bruce has had many surgeries, and on his last a close friend of our sent a pet gift basket. This basket I later came to find out cost about $250...It included 3 toys, 4 types of treats, a customized blanket and pillow, and some treats and grooming products. People do buy them and they do pay a lot for them...tell her to check out http://www.bisketbaskets.com/gourmet.html http://www.catsplay.com/bisket_bestof.php3 http://www.designityourselfgiftbaske...ft-baskets.htm Just for starters! I say go for it!!!

| new news So here is some new news on the gift basket thing. We are starting out with bath baskets i think but me and my family might be moving. So the deal i guess is that if we stay here and dont end up moving, i will be a part of their gift basket thing and make the ones that they want to make...and on the side im going to do my own pet gift baskets...if we move then im just gonna do the pet ones anyways lol...so these are my ideas. The baskets for small toy breeds are going to be beds instead of baskets and i plan on making a cover or 2 for them, leashes, clothes, collars, maybe bows, home made treats, food, and toys...when i can get the website up and running i plan to have the options of choosing boy/girl, size, color preference, and i think im going to have packages with 1, 2, or 3 bed covers, 1, 2, or 3 types of treats, and 1, 2, or 3 harness vests...please give me some feed back because im sooo excited to start this and im hoping to be able to do it as soon as i get the money...for larger dogs the basket would just have to be a basket i think because it would be hinda hard to ship a pet basket made out of a big dog bed lol...also im going to try to make kitty baskets also but i dont know what to put in those besides toys, treats, and collars...ok im open to sugestions and im keeping a record of my thoughts and yours so let me know what you think...also if any of you that have a website up and running, can you tell me what the first step is and where can i find a good place to get a .com name thats not really expensive...thanks for the help.
