| GA: Teens Cook Puppy in Oven (WARNING: graphic imagery) GA: Teens Cook Puppy in Oven (WARNING: graphic imagery) Please be warned: this article contains a graphic description Police: Teens Bake Puppy in Oven 9/7/2006 @ 8:40:39 AM ATLANTA (AP) -- Prompted by a case in which a puppy was cooked in an oven, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard is calling for tougher animal cruelty penalties in Georgia. In a letter sent yesterday to Governor Perdue, Howard says no animal should ever be treated in such a way and that when it happens [the tormentor] should be punished severely. Two teenage brothers are accused of breaking into a community center at an apartment complex last month, bringing with them a five-month-old puppy. The brothers, ages 17 and 18, allegedly removed two shelves from a commercial gas range, put the puppy in and turned on the gas. Authorities say the teens, who lived at the apartment complex, also destroyed computers and defaced walls at the center. The brothers, Justin and Joshua Moulder, have been charged with burglary, criminal damage to property and aggravated cruelty to animals. Currently, anyone convicted of felony aggravated cruelty to animals can be sentenced to five years in prison. But Howard is calling for an increase in the penalty for the obvious torture of animals. http://www.11alive.com/news/news_art...?storyid=84347 If you would like to contact the Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue and request these two guys get the maximum (if not more) please fill out this contact form in reference to the above and below story. http://www.gov.state.ga.us/contact_dom.shtml And of course a petition for punishment http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takea...ltl=1160573847 Brothers to appear in court on animal cruelty charges ATLANTA Two brothers charged with torturing a puppy and putting the animal in an oven face a court hearing in Atlanta today. Seventeen-year-old Joshua Moulder and 18-year-old Justin Moulder are accused of binding the dog with duct tape, dousing her with paint and putting the puppy in an oven at the community center at Englewood Manor Apartments, where they lived. The brothers face an eleven-count indictment on charges including aggravated cruelty to animals, burglary, criminal damage to property in the second degree, making terroristic threats and five misdemeanor counts of cruelty to children in the third degree. The child cruelty charges stem from reports by neighborhood children that the teen enticed them to the center to see the dead puppy and threatened to kill them if they told anyone they knew. The Moulders will have a chance to enter a plea to the charges during their arraignment today. Meanwhile, Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard is lobbying state lawmakers to incrase sentences for animal cruelty. The maximum now is five years in prison. Howard was recently honored by the Humane Society of the United States. In Howard's words, "Something is wrong with a person who would torture a helpless animal." http://www.envirolink.org/external.h...90714220.32564

| I think that their punishment should come from the Bible, Exodus 21:23-27. An eye for an eye. |
