Thank you for telling us. I've been looking for you everyday. I figured they put you in the hospital. Didn't I tell you it wasn't what you thought it was?

Thanks so much for checking in - I've been so worried about you - I just knew something was wrong and I was afraid you were put in the hospital. Not that that is a bad thing - when you need to be there. But I knew that it probably meant that you were very sick. I'm so sorry to hear that, but glad that you are home and I hope you are feeling better.

thank you everyone. yes. the doctor said it could of been fatal. Im on post operation antibiotics, however I didnt have an operation, thats how bad the infection had goten !

Fatal?!?!?!?!

I didn't know they could get that serious. Is that because you had an infection though? When I had mine they said it could've ruptured my ovary. But the hospital I went to also sucked! I went in at 7am, and they didn't figure out what was wrong with me until 12am!!! They didn't even do tests until 12hours after I got that, and by then I think the worst part was over for me.

Yes, it is very serious - any time you have an infection inside the body, it can cause massive infection. For example, if your appendix ruptures it causes peritonitis and you can die from that infection. An ovarian cyst could do exactly the same thing.

I had no idea until I checked in this morning of all you've been through with the pain but am SO glad to read that you are now on your way to being better

Take care of yourself and keep us posted - now we just need to get the good report back on your mammogram
