No, it wasn't...the tree was checked before anything was done and there was nothing living in it...no animals were harmed or displaced

Thanks Villette...I love animals and nature and this area seems to be providing plenty of opportunities for great pictures.

What a rare thing to see sitting in a tree like that. Great pics. They have been releasing them in pairs in our area recently but I haven't seen any yet.
They are so beautiful.

Truly amazing! What great pictures! Have you seen him since? Do you think he was just passing through? I see bald eagles about an hour south of us...I always look forward to getting to that area in hopes I'll spot one!

Thanks for sharing. They are so beautiful. I have never seen one in my area however we have hawks. I see them everyday. Yes, be carefull of you babies.

Yeah, I have two or three on my porch right now! LOL. Yeah, they are common enough that I always look up at the sky and trees when I let my boys off leash. I'm not terribly worried in Anchorage where I live, but it could happen.

Very nice photo, but watch out for your yorkie babies, those big birds are capable of swooping down and carrying them up and away ! BEWARE !
