| Sewing Machine - Which BRAND? Ok all you sewers ... I need your input!! I want to buy a good quality sewing machine. Money isn't really a problem but I'd prefer not to spend a fortune on it if I don't have to. I'd also like one that is a decent size ... not super big. I'd also like it to be easy to use (like a sewing machine for dummys lolol) Any suggestions? If you know of a great brand please let me know or even post a link. Thanks.

| What are you wanting to sew? Sorry, I'm not much help. I think I have the most basic cheapest machine there is. I tried to buy a fancy schmancy one with digital everything etc. But I found out I'm too dumb to use it and took it back to the store. LOL I know we have a lot of sewers here, I'm sure there will be better responses for you. |

| I personally don't know much about them, but I have a friend who loves to sew... I asked her that question once and she laughed at me! THe more expensive the machine with alll the cool little gadgets, like embroidery, the harder they were to operate. She did say if you buy it from a sewing store, they typically offer classes that help you with the exact model you buy! |

| Sorry. I don't know the first thing about sewing! Good luck finding the perfect sewing machine and making some super cute outfits for your babies, though! |

| The EASIEST sewing machine for dummies are the ones with the little push buttons on the front with the picture of the stitch printed on each button. I was AMAZED how easy it was with those darn picture buttons I also found if you buy one with these picture "Stitch Buttons" it's best to go for the one that is a bit better then basic. Basic is Ok but if you get the one with about 40 stitches you get some cute fancy stitches that are SIMPLE. OH and each button ususlly means 2 different stitches per button. Hope you understood all that because i don't know technical terms.....LOL

My furkids Donating Member | If you are planning on just basic sewing I would check out the Singer Machines also. These would be less expensive. I also make Sadie's (and now Lillie's) clothes...I started making a bag to carry them in together...it has 1/2 " foam in the middle of the inner and outter fabrics...My machine will not sew through the 4 thickness's of the fabrics. So....I can't finish the bag...and it's coming out awesome too...if I don't mind saying so myself!..I wish I had a heavy duty machine...this may be something you want to think about as well... Good Luck! and Happy Sewing!
