| Spider repellent?? This may sound dumb, but is there such thing as a spider repellent?? I have a HUGE phobia of spiders and tonight I was really freaking out. I go outside to take Trixie out to go to the bathroom and I start going down the first stair and I felt something. There must have been a spider web stretched across my porch and stairs and I ran into and had a spider hanging from me!!! Lets just say that I screamed, mind you that it was 2am and everyone had to hear me because you could so much as sneeze at night and the whole thing echos really bad. So I ran back into the house because it was too dark to tell whether or not the spider was gone and I had to check my clothing and hair and I am still freaked out about it. Like a said, I hav a huge phobia of spiders. I don't know how I became this way, I use to have no problems with spiders and could pick them up and even teased my grandma about them. Must have been too many spider documentations and science fiction movies!! Spiders have been really bad this year, I have never seen so many spiders, last year there was hardly any. Sooooo, I need a GOOD spider killer and/or repellent. I would prefer it not to be dangerous for my dogs seeing that there is a pine tree in the yard right where the dogs go to the bathroom which is where all the spider are located (in the pine tree). Does anyone know of any good repellents or even natural or homemade spider repellents???

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i would have done the same exact thing. i freak out around spiders. yesterday while i was drying my hair in my room in the basement and HUGE daddy long leg came running across the carpet towards me. i screamed and threw the closest thing at him, which happened to be my huge paddle brush. luckily the brush was in front of morgan or i would have threw her LOL i really would like some spider repelant for the basement stairs that lead outside because that's where they all come from. its so creepy.
