also we had a baby that kept crying and the smell of baby powder in the house but no one near us had a baby, we also had a little black shadow that use to shoot around the room really fast, it didnt like my dads snoring so would fly up and down his body if he fell asleep on the sofa lol. the strangest thing was i found a round mirror thing in my room lying on the bed, it wasnt a proper mirror it was a sticker and the mirror side had one of those funny fair mirrors on it so it made you look funny so i stuck it on my door and over the next few weeks an eye formed in the mirror, it wasnt drawn on or scratched in it just apeered, all my friends were freeked out by it so i said jokely i wonder if its a wishing mirror so i said 5 peoples names i hadnt seen for years and i wonder where they are now and over the next week i kept bumping in to them i would ask it things and they would happen ,nothing really good but things teenagers would ask for like i wish so and so would ask me out things like that and the things happened, my brothers lab had cancer and one day the cancer burst and we knew the vet would say she had to be pts so i asked the mirror to make her better but it didnt and when my brother came back with her wrapped in a blanket i ripped it off the door and cut it up, i still wonder if id kept it now i could of asked for my numbers to come up on the lottery lol

all the strange stuff apart from the little black shadow stopped after i ripped the mirror up, we had a couple of are dogs and cats come back after they had died but nothing else. i think it all scared me a bit and im kind of closed off from it now. my sister had a really bad time though, she had always been like me but nothing scary had happened to her untill she moved to a cottage in sommerset and after a few weeks she rang crying her eyes out and said she was in bed and the bed stared shaking really badly and coming off the floor i told her to leave the house and phone her bf so she did, things just got worse after that, her bf started to talk in someones voice, things moved around the house and flew across the room and my sister and her bf saw a indian standing in the room, then one day a lady turned up on my sisters door and said hello love i think you need my help and my sister was like she told my sister she was a medium and she had been sent to help her, my sister had never even met her b4. she talked things over with my sister and said the indian man was my sisters guide and told my sister to leave the house for a while so she went to stay with her friend but after the same strange things happened at her friends house ie her friends 3 year old asked why a indian man was in the kitchen and they had 2 strange fires my sister had to leave and stayed with me and are dad, well my sister was laying on the sofa and we both at the same time said there is someone else laying on the sofa, my sister freaked out so i told it to leave and it went. she kept on hearing spirits talking to her and could see them but i could only feel them so she went back to the house

then my sister said she had a dream that there was a circle on the floor under the carpet of her dinningroom so she told the medium and she came over and pulled up the carpet and there was one, the people who lived in the house b4 were how should i say this worshiping someone but not god, the medium said they had to have a clearing done so she did my sisters bf first and black smoke came out of his mouth and then she did my sister and the same happened. things after that were still strange like my sister was on the loo and the paper started spinning but things were still not as bad, i stayed there and something followed me up the stairs and one night i was on my own and had a really bad headacke ( you use to get them a lot there) and all of a sudden lots of bright sparkly lights flashed and flickered across the room from me and i felt love and the pain went. my sister has since left the house cos she got no pease from spirits who wanted to pass things on and it got to much for her cos you dont just get the good you also get the bad, she is now a medium, and a healer but she can now switch things off so her lifes her own again.

I have very vivid dreams that come true sometimes and it's actually exciting but scarey at the same time. When we had our accident a few years ago there was absolutely no reason why we should have walked out of it but I distinctly remember seeing my step-dad and grandparents holding our van as it went backwards down the ditch...Granny P. was holding Boog (he was with us then) and the other 3 were holding the back corner of the van...I looked up and they said 'not yet!'. For some reason we didn't flip over and Boog didn't have a scratch even though everything inside the van was totally destroyed...we had 1 good door when it was over! When our Rosie was missing a friend in Florida contacted a psychic for me, (not at my request though) she called me and told me what the woman looked like that had Rosie and what her house looked like and she was right. All of my grandparents are gone but last week I had a dream that I was telling my grandfather about our new log cabin on the lake, he loved to fish, and he smiled so big and said how happy he was for us...I said I had to go and I turned to open a door, my grandmother appeared behind Grandpa with her hands on his shoulders and said 'o.k. honey, we'll see you soon'. That one scared me but I hope it means that they'll be paying me a visit and not that I'll be visiting them...unless it's in a dream again! The one I get that I really don't like is...I know when someone in my family or close to me is pregnant before they do. I've been known to ask who is pregnant at family get togethers...sometimes they fess up and other times they don't even know yet. I really hate that one though...that queazy feeling ain't nice and I have a huuuuge family...this could go on forever!

i think when they said i we will see you soon it dont mean how we say it, to them there sence of time isnt the same so to us they have been gone years but to them its only a few days so when they say see you soon to them it will be soon. i knew my friend was pregnant and that something was wrong, i hadnt seen her for months but i just had a feeling she was not ok so i rang her a few days later and she said she had been pregnant but had just lost it.

my sister in law was pregnant and was just coming up to 3 months and i had a dream i was standing at the top of my stairs my sister in law was in the middle and my mum who died was at the bottom and she walked up the stairs and through my sister in law and then came out the other side with her arms crossed like she was holding a baby and then smiled at me and walked through me, as she did i felt her love, i never said anything to my sister in law as i didnt want to worry her but 3 days later she told me she lost the baby, ive only just 4 days ago told her about my dream (she lost the baby about 6 years ago) and she said the day i had the dream was the day she started bleeding and she never told us it took 3 days to lose the baby.

I've always heard that EVERYONE has psychic abilities. Just that a majority choose to not listen to it...they dismiss what they hear, see or feel or think "there is a logical explanation for...".

Psychic abilities leave people that don't stay in tune with it or work with it. It's like a well built muscular body. You stop working out, you're going to slowly loose that muscle tone over time till you're left with something that looks like...me! LOL

I have somewhat of a gift, my sister does, too. My mother can hold an object of yours and tell you all about you and your family and your life, places you've been, down to the tiniest details. She is not a medium and does not speak to spirits, though.

My sister and I feel spirits around, we usually pick up on things the same way and at the same time, if we ever go out and something's strange, we just have to look at each other and we know there's a presence, or something there... we pick up not only presences, but feelings, smells, sometimes they talk to us, but it's like our own thoughts in our head, it's weird. Things just pop up when a spirit is talking to us, and we'll say the same thing out oud, very cool!

I actually can talk to spirits using divining rods, it quite an unusual method and something I've rarely heard of, but I've been pretty successful doing it.

Funny, i never knew what they were until I had a dream one night with my deceased Uncle, whom I was very close to in life. In my dream, he showed them to me, and told me to use them to talk to him, and that's how it started.

and Kimberley - I WANT TO SEE A GHOST !! When you said we all have these abilities - I've always welcomed it. When my best friend and cousin died...I slept with his shirt under my pillow for years.....just waiting for any sign he know how much I missed him - he never came It would be cool if we all had abilities and could learn how to use them - but I have a feeling my ability just amounts to Wishful thinking...

oh and Kimberley - I still have that Ghost picture of yours on my computer - the more I looked at it ...the more I thought it's a real face

It's funny that this subject came up because I said something along these lines to my DH the other day. He was having a problem deciding how big to make a utility trailer frame. I said "Why don't you think about it tonight while your going to sleep and it may come to you." He said, " That reminds me, a while back I was working on a car & I was stuck on how to fix something, & my Grandpa told me how to do it in a dream." His Grandpa died many years ago, but they where fairly close & they always worked on cars when he was alive. I just told him that Sylvia said they come to us in dreams because that's when we're the most receptive.

yes ive got some rods. also isnt it funny how it runs in family? my sister can hold things and tell you about the person who owns it too. i think i could do a lot more than i can but im happy with how things are now and cos ive seen how hard it can be on your own life and wellbeing im gonna stay how iam for now.

i think its something that happenes when your a child and then you stay open to it as an adult, all children can see cos to them they are normal and no fear.
