| Pit Bulls Seized I'm watching the Houston News station & they are at the Humane Society with armed guards today. Apparently 320 Pit Bulls were seized at a home in Liberty County & the humane company is being besieged with people trying to see them & bully their way past the humane society employees. They said that some of the Pit Bulls according to their blood line are worth as much as a million dollars!!! I'm telling you that just came over the ABC News station |

| They are only worth that much if they are going to make you money and the only way they can do that is through fighting. Most places arond here are banning them. I hope they are very careful who they let adopt them. And if they were used for fighting, they will probalby be put down. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | god that makes me absolutely sick. those poor pit bulls are probably going to be put to sleep. If they were all fighting dogs then they can't be fulled trusted right away, AND i'll bet if they do get adopted people will try to steal them because they were good fighters or have good fighting lines... poor dogs. pits are great family pets

| Adoptions I don't know what the final outcome will be but they are saying the humane society will keep them now because Liberty County says they are evidence in a criminal case. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I saw it and it made me sick. Those JERKS were only worried about the money.....and GOOD for the Humane Soc. for stepping in and getting them - I'd hate to see them put down - (hopefully they'll be a big adoption) - but that may be reaching ....I have a feeling those poor dogs are doomed ...they were doomed with their so called 'owners' and now with possible euthansia..... People SUCK ! |
