Are you ready for Football?
 
My husband and I love pro football and we can't wait for the next season to start. I was wondering any of you are big football fans? If so, who is you favorite team. We are Pittsburgh Steelers!!!! :thumbup:

Ive been counting down the days for months! LOL! Me and my hubby are big KC Chiefs fans! I am sooo excited for this season!

i used to be a huge football fan when i was married. I even played fantasy football with my husband, but I kept winning :D 3 out of 5, i think that's why he gave me the boot... ha ha ha. I haven't followed it for the past 5 years. I tried to watch last year and didn't hardly recognize any names. I liked Green Bay and Carolina. As a kid I was a Cowboy fan.

I'm not a sports fan, but I LOVE watching my Auburn Tigers! I can't wait to get in that stadium and yell, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR EAGLE! HEY!"

YES, YES, YES!!! I am SOOOO ready for football. First and foremost I'm a University of Texas fan - GO LONGHORNS!!! Second, I'm a Cowboy fan! My hubby loves the Denver Broncos. I also follow several other pro teams to keep track of my former Longhorn players (Detroit, Tampa Bay, Chicago, in particular).

We are getting geared up for Tennessee (UT)Football!!!! My daughter plays in the Pride of the Southland Band...(sorry just a proud mama) So we love College Football, This is the best time of the year!!!:D GO VOLS!

I forgot to mention that we also follow the Ohio State University (Buckeyes) team, well my husband more than I do since he went to college there. I just love that time of the year Football, football and more football!!!:D :D :D

I'm not a huge football fan but hubby is. He is a big Indianapolis Colts fan. So I get to hear about how well or not well they are doing all the time. Sometimes I don't mind football season cause it keeps him glued to the t.v. and gives me a chance to get some things done around the house. I'm more of a basketball fan myself. :)

I CANNOT wait for football!!!!!! :D :D :D I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan....always will be. Whereas my boyfriend is a Raiders fan. :rolleyes: I guess it could be worse...he could like the Cowboys, lol. :p

My husband has this little countdown downloaded on our computer for months now... It's ridiculous! He is OBSESSED with football. I don't mind a game here or there. But he goes WAY overboard. I guess I'll have lots of time to go shopping :D

Our team: Green Bay Packers. They're going to do horrible this year; my husband is going to be upset after every game. And to top it all off, Brett Favre will retire and my husband will cry. Not much to look forward to...

OH WOW I LOVE THE STEELERS:D :D :D If you look in my profile on here that is one of my hobbies is watching my boys play football. We have Steeler fan clubs here since Baltimore didn't have a team for a long time. I put on one of my many Steelers jerseys on and wear my Steelers charm bracelet every Sunday. Georgie has a Benny Boy jersey and my next Yorkie will be named BEN:) He doesn't like his jersey so when he sleeps while we are watching the games I cover him up with my terrible towel LOL. I am a complete football NUT (as I am sure you can tell) everyone knows not to bother me on Sundays and Monday nights. I love how many Steelers fans there are it's awesome......so the yes to your question is YES YES YES I am soooo ready for some football.My fiance' is a Cowboys fan so we love watching the games together. Our TV's stay on ESPN during the off season just to stay on top of what's going on. Sorry to ramble just excited to see another women football fan and a STEELERS fan at that I LOVE IT:D


BTW we are going to the first game of the season when the Steelers get their SB XL rings vs. the Dolphins I can't wait:D :D :D

WE pretty much catch all the games, pro and college. I really don't have a favorite team. But having been born and raised in WI I follow the Packers. I made Chachi a Football Vest.

Same way here, sundays and monday night are sacred to us during football season. I named Jerome after Jerome Bettis:D :D . Whenever they are on the road we go to one of those games to support them, well, last year they came to Houston so we didn't go out of town, but this year we are going to Pittsburgh to see them play against the KC chiefs. GO STEELERS!!!

That is really cool I think a lot more women are getting into football now. I grew up with 3 brothers so I was born to love football;) They are Redskins fans, but I have been a Steelers fan since I was little. We need to keep in touch during the season:D

See, I was introduce to football by my husband and he's been a Steeler fan since he was little too, before him the only thing I knew about football was when someone scored a TD. :D that was it. Now he is even impressed how fast I leaern about the game and how a hardcore fan I am. I convinced him to get the Sunday ticket so that we didn't have to go to the bars and enjoy the game form the comfort of our house. Ah! I forgot, my in laws are Steelers fans too and they don't have the NFL ticket so when a game is not on regular tv they drive a hour or so to come and watch the game and of course we cook out and I make queso dip and salsa and we have a great time.
Of course we need to keep in touch during season. I will pm you with my email address.:p

my boyfriend and I LLLOOOVVVEEE college football, both our families are all alumnis from The University of South Carolina, so we are Huge Gamecock fans....we are getting ready for tailgating season!!!! Speaking of which......I know this is off-topic, sorry admin!!! but does anyone know some good recipes for tailgating...we want to try some more this year...last year it was either chicken or burgers & chips....anyone have any suggestions?

Serious Indy Colt's fan in the house. A little nervous about this season without "the Edge". Suffered with nightmares for 3 weeks after last years game between the Colt's and the Steeler's. A very unfortunate ending for such an accurate kicker(usually). I still get my feelings hurt when I think about it.

:p JeffersPet.com .... they are down in Dothan. They were selling them last year and I'm not sure they still have them or not .... but, if you can use a size small sweater [I had to order Miss Prissy Paws another one, XS] ... just PM me your address and it's yours! I know they were having a closeout on the blankies because I tried to order Toto another one and they were already sold out. Toto loves that thing and snuggles in it all the time! Hope the sweater will fit one of yours because I have tried to find a "Bama Fan" to give it to ... just let me know! Oh, and BTW .....
