I used to really enjoy football (I'm an eagles fan) before I met my boyfriend. But he takes it to another level. He's obsessed. And he insists that I watch the game EVERY sunday at his parent's house so we can watch on the 52 inch high def tv. (Why the frig did he insist on getting a 30-some inch high def tv for my apt then???? And why am I paying extra in my cable bill every month for it???) That's a big pain in my a$$ because they live a good 30 minutes away and then I have shows on afterwards and don't end up getting home until almost midnight. And then I get up for work at 6:30! AND Howie doesn't like to be up that late and he behaves like a monster whenever we're there so I spend the whole time chasing after him and apologizing for him. So, needless to say, he's ruining it for me. Sorry... I needed to vent!!!!

AWWWWW! That sux! If I were you, I would make Sunday nights "ME time." You could relax at your own house, just you and Howie. Watch the game on YOUR new tv and just relax. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks for the support! That's what I want to do, but I'm getting a guilt trip for it... It's bad enough that he still LIVES with his parents, but now he's trying to make Sunday a day at their house??!! And might I mention that their house is a pig-sty and I have awful allergies to dust, mildew, mold and dog hair (they have a golden retriever who sheds ungodly b/c they don't brush her). Men.... can't live with them, wish I could live without them!!!

And yes, I could definately use a small if you still have it...those just look great...it doesn't look 'cheap.' Lol...I need your address in any case...can't tell you why though.;)

Well, that really stings! but like RLC12345678 said just make it your day and enjoy it, look at the bright side of that.:)

I can completely sympathize with the big TV/high def issue. I finally told my hubby, look, if you want all that crap, fine--ANYTHING if you will just SHUT UP!! And it is not going in the living room b/c I refuse to let our living room look like Circuit City!:mad: :thumbdown Kinda nice really, keeps him out of my hair!;)

Haha... secretly though I have to admit that the high def does look really good. I enjoy watching it when he's not around!!! But I would never tell him that! ;)

Oh me either! I use the excuse that I go in that room because it's where Aussie (our bird) is and I'm spending time with her.:D Which is true alot of the time.
I remember when he first got the HD--just a few months ago--there were no sports on TV at the time and he watched the Discovery Channel in HD for a few weeks.:rolleyes: And to be quite honest, there are some things that I just don't need to see in HD!:rolleyes:

I'm more of a BASKETBALL FAN :) but I root for the DALLAS COWBOYS with my dad since we are from TEXAS & I also have to be a football fan since my boyfriend is going to play college football for USF :)
