| How do you remove gum We found some gum stuck to the carpet, no idea how it got there and we need a way of removing the gum without ruining the carpet. The carpet is brand new and the gum is stuck in there good. So does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to remove the gum without ruining or replacing the carpet??

| if that doesnt work, use peanut butter. the oil in the peanut breaks up the gum and it comes right out. my friends son had gum in his hair and she came over and asked for peanut butter. we didnt believe it would work but we tried. after a minute or so rubbing it in, it came right out.
