Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Be X'tra Careful Of Hot Weather Wow, what an awful thing this week for me this hot weather, I got over heated, just wanted to remind everyone to be extra careful of this hot weather, I did not realize how quickly one can get over heated. Was scarey with the high temp that I ran and had a hard time getting it down. Sure have made a point of not taking Baby Blessing out during the hot weather, when it first started getting rather warm I could see she definately is a cool weather little girl. I wish I had more brain sense this past week to realize for my own self a real lesson learned. Patti |

| So glad to hear you're alright. I just don't do good in hot weather, especially if it's humid. It sure sneaks up on us, we just have to make sure we're hydrated and make frequent rest stops. Personally I just stay in the house with the AC on. I can always find something to do...LOL

| I'm glad that you're doing better now! Thanks for the warning! Hobbs has been getting rather restless and I've really been wanting to take him on a walk, but I just know that it is DANGEROUS in the weather! I just try to play with him more inside. |

| I am glad you are ok. I can take a lot of heat usually. the older I get the less I can handle it. I have made some light weight boots for buckeye to wear(getting him used to them). the pavement is so hot he dont want to attempt to walk on it most of the time. I have also started taking a water bottle with me when I walk him and Ahia. those kind with the pull down spout to drink from.

| I'm glad you're OK. I've heard that heat stroke can be very dangerous. I've also heard that once you have had a heat stroke, you have to be more careful in the future because you become more prone to getting them. So just a warning to be more careful. |

when that happened. Had to go this morning and get lots of blood work done. Since that happened, one thing I notice is that I can't get out into the sun now, I break out into a cold sweat, and also when I get too warm. Have never had any problem like that before. I am spending all my time indoors for awhile and will only go shopping or whatever in the evenings. We had few days of cooler weather but now it is really getting hot again during the day. Baby Blessing is loving my being indoors all the time now, as mommie is sewing more for her. Oh, does she love her things. Will have to take some pictures of her in some of her new things soon and post them Patti and Baby Blessing | |
