My heart stopped, I was to afraid to go up stairs so I turned off the TV and air purifire and listened! It must have been this TV down here cause I didnt here anything, so I forced myself to go up stairs to make sure everything was ok and my husky was just laying there! I figured if someone broke in she would at least bark, she would probably lead them to the jewles lol dont worry, my heart is beating normal now lol |

| Awww,I hate when something like that happens! Isn't it funny these big dogs are just soooo ferocious! LOL Our golden retriever would open the door and let the stranger in if he could. He absolutely loves people and he's only barked once in the 5-6 years that we've had him. GREAT watch dog ...NOT |

| It's only 11:30 here I can't sleep when my husband is gone too... I always dream up terrible things that might happen if I fall asleep. Your harness is in the mail. I just finished somebody else's order and now I'm trying to relax on YT before I hit the bed. It's been a looong day. Kids started back to school, and my baby boy started kindergarten...*sniff sniff* Last edited by chloeandj; 07-24-2006 at 10:43 PM. |

| Oh my gosh I had a big scare tonight too! I was looking at my kitchen mirror and then I almost scream because I see some girl behind me - then I realize its ME reflecting off the window on the laundry room door. I almost fainted! I thought I saw a ghost! I could swear I saw an old lady. Oh well. I've still got the chills. I really think it was just me though. I am so gullible and easily scared of stupid things its pathetic. When will this imagination retire? Yet, I love scary movies and they don't scare me much! My mom was taking a shower and I almost felt like running in there but I just got an ice cream thingy instead and forgot about it. Thank God for short attention/memory span!

| I used to be afraid to stay by myself. When we were first married I would even drive to town to my Mom's until my hubby got home. After a few years I just got tired of it. Now when my son and hubby are away for the weekend at Scout camp I actually enjoy it. If anything is going on outside either the 4yorkies will bark or my Golden Retriever will. It's just too exhausting being afraid. I'm sure a time will come when you just get "tired" of it and it will no longer bother you as much.

| LOL I can be so silly! I got scared again later because in the front of my house theres a big window and when cars drive by a shadow goes on a wall next to this big sectional couch. Well, since I still had the chills, when I saw that shadow the first thing I thought of was GHOST GHOST and needless to say I flipped over onto the couch on accident and had a REALLY big scare! But then I laughed it off. Wow, you can bet I slept like a baby! See, now if you were a fly on my wall then, you would have probably been scared too!

| Glad to know everything is okay, but I feel for you. When my hubby and I first married, he worked a swing shift. We lived in a not nice neighborhood then and every noise freaked me out when I was home alone. Then, I started getting phone calls (they never said anything - but still) EVERY night he worked and only when he was away at work. We had a Shepard mix dog then (cute, but very dumb). One night when hubby was at work, I heard a "crash" of glass breaking and the dog who had been in living room comes barreling down the hallway. I've never been so scared!!! Well, the dog liked to lay across the top of the sofa which was in front of the window. He had been doing that a knocked over a potted plant - that was the crash and it scared him which sent him bolting to me!!! I didn't think my heart would ever return to beating normal!!!

That would've scared me too! I think I would faint! Wow, good thing it was your dog! Did you ever figure out who was calling? That is strange.. Last night I felt the same way, my heart was beating really fast already after the first thing and then during the second I thought I was going to have a heart attack!
