| Ok, me and my husband have been thinking about it for a couple weeks and have decided to go and buy a pontoon boat today...YEA... I can't get ahold of my best friend to tell her and my mom would try and talk us out of it so I just had to tell someone and so like always I turned to YT.... I've always wanted a boat but could never afford one on my own so I'm so excited.... But, I do have some concerns... We're really going to be pushing our budget on this.... The only way we can afford it is by both of us quitting somking cold turkey. I know we can both do it but now I'm thinking of what we could spend all that money on if we would quit and not buy the boat!... Oh well, we're doing something good for our health and something to keep us busy while were not smoking RIGHT? Crystal

| Oh, I forgot to mention that my other concern is that were going to be financing it for 12 YEARS, OUCH..... That's the only way that we can afford it, damn I hate having no money...LOL.. So were stuck with the boat for a while now.

| AWESOME!!!! CONGRATS. Glad you guys are doing something you want to do. Don't worry about financing. Its virtually impossible to be debt free and be successful in the U.S. Great job on quiting smoking, you can do it. I'm so excited for you. Enjoy this time and don't let anyone talk you out of it, you deserve it!

| Donating YT 30K Club Member | That's great!!! The boat should help make it easier to quit as you will have a good reason. My husband is a long time smoker and can hardly walk and is always tired and had angioplasty at 45. So I applaud you on your decision and know you can do it!!!!

Congrats!!! That's a good way to bribe yourself to quit smoking also...I think I might use that to get myself a jetski lol..I want one soo bad, but I cant finance one because I'm in the process of getting a mortgage, so I'm thinking maybe next summer. Enjoy the boat!!! | |

| I say GO FOR IT . . . it is a great incentive to quit. You'll be happy in the end of feeling healthier than you've ever been. I bought my DH a "fancy" car just so he'd quit smoking . . .and because he treats them like I treat my furbabies, it sure worked. Cold turkey and never looked back. He quit the day before 9/11. At the time I had to get a loan too but I have not regrets as I know he is much healtier now. |

| LOL Well let me tell ya, I only smoke when and if I'm on fire. We have always had a boat, and I have to tell ya, it's the best. Great family and friend times. I'd say go for it, you're gonna love it. Our kids have been out all day, they love it. It's a lot of sun, but at the same time a lot of fun. I'll go out in the morning, and meet them at the dock to take over. This Grandma needs a nap after long days in the sun. But 10 years ago, hmmmmm you couldn't get me off that boat. Have a great time!!!!!

| My dad just did cold turkey too! He's still going through the withdrawls though. If he has the courage after 40 years of smoking, you will too! |

| Thanks for all the encouragement.... It's making me feel alot better about buying this boat... Also just so everyone knows, Yesterday was my husband and I's last day of smoking wether we get the boat or not. We promised each other ..... Well were waiting on the bank to call today to tell us if we got the interest rate that we need to afford the payment. We need 9.5% to keep our payment at $160.00 a month. I may move the price to $180.00 but I'm not sure yet..... If they call with the right place then the bank will call the boat shop and they will have our boat ready for us to put in the water on Sat. morning.... YEA We went yesterday after fillling out all the paperwork the petsmart and found life vest for Lucy and Tank. I can't wait till we take them out on the water. That's why I wanted a pontoon, so they would have room to move around and play and realx. My husband wanted a ski boat but that would mean we would have to leave the pups at home alot and I want them to be with us. It comes with a bimini top (that you can see in the pics) so they will always have shade from the sun.. So heres the pics.... Keep your fingers crossed that they call with a good monthly payment for us..... I'll let ya know when I get the call... Crystal

| For some reason when I hit Manage attachments it doesn't do anything. I guess I'll try a little later. I don't know why it's not working
