So Friggin Mad!!
 
:mad: I run a daycare and I dont know why but this little girl tore my walpaper off almost the whole way up. She has NEVER done this before..I am soo friggin mad right now I could beat her (I wont of course). I want to redo this anyway but its the friggin point!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Oh Man I'd be mad too. How old is the little girl.

Look at it this way, it just gives you the incentive to redecorate sooner. Maybe the kids can help you tear it all off.

shes 18 months but I have had her since she was 6 months and has NEVER messed with it. I am really trying not to be mad but gosh dang. I dont have the extra money right yet to redo it all and so now its a big tear eye sore. Its not even in the corner its right there in the middle of the wall!:( :(

This is probably not much consolation, but my dogs tore mine off in several spots, and then the scratched a hole in another wall.

Excuse my french but..sorry my a$$! They should be offering money to you to help replace the wallpaper! If my daughter tore the wallpaper off of your wall, I'd give you money to replace it! How rude they are! :mad: :thumbdown

AWWW! She's just a baby! AND, getting close to the "terrible twos"...actually my kids started that around 18 months of age.

Just means you get to start on your project sooner!:D

As a former nanny, I realize that children can be destructive. If you were watching the child more closely, maybe she wouldn't of pulled the paper off. I don't mean to criticize, but sometimes you have to have a childproof environment. This sometimes means taking away things that they may break or destroy. I also had children misbehave. However, I never had the urge to hurt them. Maybe you should find a new profession.

LOL.....im not putting wall paper back up. Im re sheet rocking and painting. I was really mad at the time but im calmer now!!

I am sorry but I have been in dc for 3 years and I was really upset at the time so please dont judge me and say I need to find a new profeesion. I also want to say its hard to put up a wall papered WALL so it wont get tore. I would NEVER hurt a child EVER. so please dont sit there and tell me what I need to do. Sorry im not perfect like you and should never get mad.. :mad: also please dont repy bitchy when you have no clue!!

That's harsh to say to her. Everyone isn't perfect. To say she should find another profession is rude and unconsiderate. If you're watching over 7 kids at once, it's hard to watch them all if you're by yourself.

I would like to state that I watch them very closely and she ripped when i was in the room so again... dont judge me and be bitchy..again sorry im not perfect!!

Wow, you said exactly what I was thinking. But being new I figured I'd get my head bitten off if I said it. Anyway, it would take a few minutes for an 18 month old to pull off wall paper...what were you doing? I've done daycare and you can not let them out of your site at that age. (like a yorkie puppy). If the parents are paying you to watch her I doubt they will feel like they should pay for the wall paper, as it shows you were not watching her. And your reaction is pretty harsh. I think Lola is right, you may need a new career. I noticed on your post about Mason tearing up your room you just laughed it off and thought he was being cute. Maybe you should do yorkie daycare!:)
