Do you mean kinda how some people were so rude to me about my 2 year old son accidently knocking over my friends vase?

I don't know if this has something to do with the topic, BUT I worked in a daycare for months I was told by the owner that i was to keep the children quiet these children for 18 months to 3 years old that was not what i could do I had one little boy that like to bite my butt every chance he had I was not allowed to tell the parnets the only time you can go to the restroom you had to have the owner to watch the children sleep so you could pee, so I know what she is going thru been there got teeth mark on my butt to show it. I love kids I have 2 and that is enough for me. I wish you luck and I know how you feels to have 7 to 8 children that young to care for is hard to watch.

Kids can be so mischiveous! But you live and you learn. I love my nephew to death and he's now 4 but when he was younger he made a couple of booboos and I was very upset. But then I calmed down and realized he's only a kid. It's only human to get frustrated with kids, even older ones. Under 5 is just such a difficult age and they are definetely wanting to test you. I'm sure you are a good caretaker and I'm sorry about your wall. That totally sucks :( But at least this will be incentive enough to start building up for remodeling. What a strong kid!!! How did she rip off wallpaper :eek:

I totally don't blame you for being upset with the child. I would be too. And i didn't take it literally when you said you could have beat her because i know alot of people say that when they're mad. I used to do child care as well and its no picnic, even with older kids. I"ve watched kids from the ages of 2-10 and they are all a pain in teh butt at one time or another and they all have done something wrong or destructive. They're kids, its what they do. I got mad at them too.

WHEWWW..... i thought i was going to get jumped on....I know your rep..HAHA..there was alittle corner up that only little fingers can get i think and just ripped. I love kids to death and should not have said what i said outload but I did so i guess thees not much I can do about it. I thinkhonesty with the parents are very important. I dont expect any money or anything but I thought i should let them know!! I guess your right though that might get my husbands butt in gear!! HAHA:D :D

i\'ve been bitten in the upper thigh area by a kid. it was not fun and my first reaction was to smack him away, but i held back. why would a kid bite you there? They can easily get attention by doing something else, why biting?

I usually just tell it like it is and if that gets me a rep, I guess I\'m ok with that :D My friend use to say something that made me crack up a lot but it\'s kind of true, he used to say "don\'t put sugar on my crap and call it candy"..lool, so from then on, I never did. Anyways, don\'t sweat the comments and we all know you wouldn\'t beat a kid..lol..we ALLLLLL think that from time to time. Some admit it and others don\'t.

I read the first post and understood that you were venting!! It\'s good to vent on here and that way the pressure is less on you. I think we all have had one of those days. Of course most of us know that you would not have spanked that child or you would never have wrote that. I worry about the one\'s who keep it all in and then...
