I have a cousin who had leukemia at age 8 and she had beautiful, long, brown wavy hair. She lost all of it and she was devastated. Even at such a young age, her feminine vanity made her feel "ugly" without her hair. She was made a gorgeous wig, I'm not sure if it was from the same charity but I can tell you, it made all the difference in the world to her. She was able to smile again and didn't feel so ashamed. She is now a beautiful, healthy 15 year old and all her hair has grown back but she still remembers her ordeal as a little girl. I just want to commend you for doing such a wonderful thing for a child in need. Because of you, another child like my cousin will be given his/her smile back. I can assure you, you have a wealth of blessings coming your way!!

How pretty! I looks so good. I wish I had the guts to cut my hair. I was just telling my husband that I need to cut at least 12" just this weekend. He just wasn't hearing it! This is the longest my hair has ever been and he just loves it. I love my hair but on the other hand, I can't stand it. It's half way down my butt and always in the way. Was it an easy discission? I can tell you right now, I loved your hair long, and when I read that you cut it, I was telling myself OH NO. But it really looks good. I really like it! Donating your hair was a very nice thing to do.
