| Is that in Euros or Brittish Pounds? I believe the Euro is worth a little more than a US dollar, and a Brittish Pound is worth two US dollars....

| pounds About $50...but that sounds right..office visit and removal. Next time, do it yourself. Take ahold with a tissue or tweezer and pull...when we were kids my uncles hunting hounds used to get ticks and I was the offical tick remover. I would pull them off with my fingers and drop them in a coke bottle full of kerosene..I wonder how any of us kids made it to adulthood with the things we did..never got sick, but I would freak out if my grandson did those things! LOL |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | oh my $50 for a tick removal, that's just insane. If a client called up asking us to remove a tick we'd just tell them to come down at a time when two technicians are available and i'd be free

| I got the tweezers round it once then freaked out,I couldnt do it! My son (7) and daughter (2) were waiting for it to come out as they wanted to play with it on the yard!!! They thought it would run roung and jump like a flee! The vet did send the tick out (dead) for them to look at so they were happy! |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | oh another thing you can try is pouring .... ummm, rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide (can't remember which, maybe someone else will know) on the tick. this sometimes kills them to stuns them so you can get it off easier.

| I've heard that holding a hot match stick to them will make them back out. |

| I asked! And since I'm a Spanish teacher, I know about a good currency converter online. http://www.xe.com/ucc/ I had posted the conversion on the other thread, but I'll post it here again. 25.00 GBP United Kingdom Pounds = 45.6093 USD United States Dollars 1 GBP = 1.82437 USD 1 USD = 0.548134 GBP
