| I Have Jury Duty Tomorrow... But I just found out they have Wi-Fi so I will be taking my lap top with me and spend time on YT while sitting around! At least I can have fun instead of getting bored and stir crazy while I wait to see if I get called to serve or not. I don't mind being on a jury. I think the cases are interesting and I like fulfilling my civic duties. It's the waiting that everone dreads!!! I just don't get why we have to sit around all day. Thanks to modern technology, I'm actually looking forward to going tomorrow!

| ugh I did jury duty last year in October and all we did was sit in a stupid room for two hours (after the videos and questionnaire) while they went over the questionnaire they had everyone fill out. I had a test that night at 5 so I spent the two hours trying to study yuuuuuuck oh well...guess some people like it...I didn't. We had to watch two videos about it, fill out the survey, wait around, got assigned to groups and waited again only to get told we had to call at 4:15 to listen to a recording that afternoon to see what group was needed the next day. oh well. i guess it's an easy (but boring) way to earn 10 bucks in a day oh well...guess I'd rather serve on jury duty then not go and a get a warrant out for my arrest lol -Melissa

| I was pulled for jury duty last year... Hoped I would just sit in that room for two days and be done with it. Oh nooooooooooo. I was called in the very first batch of jurors the first day I was there. Ended up being on the jury... Trial and deliberation took a total of 5 days. The trial part wasn't bad, it was the deliberation I hated. It was a criminal trial, so it had to be unanimous... and being stuck in that little room with a bunch of other people arguing until our faces were blue and that last person finally conceded was NOT fun! UGH! (He was guilty!) I'm happy we're only required to do that once every so many years.... |
