Yes, I went right down to the aparment office (with bed hair and everything) and told the manager and she said she'll have the maintence guy come by and "plug the hole", like thats going to do anything, there is obviously another hole behind the counter into the wall or something where they are getting in.

We live in the country and when I would always take Gidget outside to go potty, well I learned my lesson quick. Never take her out without a leash. She loved to corner possoms, snap and bark at them. I could not get her away from them for anythimg. My husband would have to yell her name and she would come running. Unfortunately he was the only one she minded, probably cause she knew he would make her if she didn't. I just lost her last wednesday and it has been tough. So I enjoy reading everyones stories. Although I am going to pick up my new baby yorkie today, can't wait!!

there was one on my fence a couple weeks ago i thought it was a cat and went up to it well then i screamed and ran for my life lol:eek: :eek: :eek:

The only possum I have seen have been Road Kill.

I am still trying to convince the people at my office I saw a Badger in the Parking lot. I have been told Badgers don't live in NJ. I don't think I will qualify for a wilderness guide anytime soon. Maybe I can start my training in KD apartment.:sidesplt: :sidesplt:

And yes, bed time is not going to be fun. The apartment mgr called 'pest control' but they can't come until tomorrow and these little creatures are nocturnal, yikes!! I'm sure I'll sleep well, ya right.

I have a piece of rolled up cardboard stuck in the hole and a board across the kitchen doorway just in case one of them does get back in the kitchen they won't be able to get into the rest of the apartment.

I think I'll sleep in my cowboy boots tonight just in case :D (now how's that mental image, even worse huh)

txshopper asked me what happened to the manly man she's come to know. I told her that I protect my women from burglars, rapists, phycho killers and obnoxious drunks in bars but I draw the line at snakes and RATS!!! LOL

You guys are mean. Poor little possum he just wanted to eat, he was hungry!! Plus, I think they are cute. I see them all the time in my backyard and Kiki(the cat) goes bananas when she sees one, but since she is an indoor cat she can't go uotside and chase the poor possum. I like them and I wouldn't hurt them as long as they don't hurt me or mess with me or my pets.
