| Yes, we are on the beach. About 100 yards up the path. Our condo is in the best part of town with easy access to all the beaches, nightlife, etc. We're about a 15 minute cab ride from the airport and a 20 minute walk from town or a 5 min. tai ride. There is also a bus stop right above the condo entrance. Buses are about .40, taxi to town about $3.00. PV is one of the friendliest cities in the world, and about 80% of the people speak English. We abolutely can't wait to live there!!!! There is a large Canadian and American population there as well. Our favorite restaurants are The Vista Grill, Eldorado, PiPi's, and any of the traditional Mexican cafes are very inexpensive. The 3 restaurants I mentioned above are a little pricier, but not compared to American restaurants of the same quality. Let me know if you have any more questions! Elizabeth |

| The condo assoc. doesn't want visitors to bring pets, but I will work it out for YT members to take their dogs with them! There are some good vets in PV just in case. You'll need a vet certificate to bring your dog into and out of Mexico. This is very easy to do though. They have a printable form for this on the Mexican Embassy website I think. Anyway, if you want to go, I'll find the form and paste it on to YT. |

| Effingham to PV is going to be quite the change I'd guess! It looks beautiful. My bf is in Springfield, IL this week and is coming home tonight. I'm sure he will not object to a sunny vacation. Come to think of it, I love Stewie and everything, but I think he might be happier with one of his grandmas for the time. Is any time in the summer booked already?

| Summer is wide open at this point! Summer is the rainy season. What that means though is it rains everyday from about 4 to 5:30 and that cools everything down. Our pool is great in the summer...very large and you'll more than likely have it all to yourselves! We also have a full staff year round and Cuca or Lupita will do your laundry really cheap!!!! they are wonderful! Lupita also will iron it for you if you ask! Jose takes great care of the grounds and the pool area and Sonia our manager speaks very good English! I was there in Jan/Feb and of course that time of year is wonderful! I've also been there 3 times in the summer and had a great time each trip! We ususally stay at the pool or the beach during the heat of the day, and then get dressed and go out on the town at night. Did you go to www.allaboutpuertovallarta.com? It will give you great info on lots to do there! Parasailing, jungle tours, snorkeling, diving, jetskis...etc. In PV you can do as much or as little as you want to! I'm getting homesick just thinking about it...... You're right! Its WAYYYY diferent from Effingham! LOL! |
