One time I received a candle holder thingy...that I am certain was a re-gift because the outside of the box was covered in mold.

I still can't figure out why the gift giver (term used loosely here) didn't just put it in another box...

Received an ugly, painted by someone in beginner's painting class....tin snowman....that came from the grocery store. I think they picked it up on the way OVER, and I know it came from the grocery store....cause I'd seen that fugly, ugly a$$ snowman for a month in the store.

The snowman was worse than the moldy box gift. Btw, I re-gifted the candle holder...only I was smart enough to put it in a NEW box.

A friend of mine cross stitched a map of Texas and across the top it read "IT IS HARD TO BE HUMBLE WHEN YOU COME FROM TEXAS" I am a native Texan so that was special to me. It took a lot of work too...she was so good to me!

I received a trash can from the dollar store as a gift from a co-worker I guess it's the thought that counts

I received a picture in a beautiful frame of my Mom, my oldest niece Danyelle (when she was a baby) and I for a housewarming gift from my niece Danyelle. It's special because my Mom past away when I was 13 so we didn't get to take too many pictures of her with her grandchildren.

Have you ever gotten a gift back that you have given someone?

I only have 3 things from my childhood. One lime green bunny from Easter whose music box no longer plays. Not even sure WHY I have this. A monkey that came from my grandfather....the Christmas after he passed away. He died on the 18th of December. And a baby quilt that my great grandmother made.

Have never received one back, but have my suspisions on their yard sale wares....LOL. Someone please answer that's gotten something back...I'd love to hear it.

I haven't received anything back but I get a ton of stuff from my SIL that I know she is regifting and doesn't ever use. I.E Jenny Craig VCR tapes...I don't even have a VCR anymore!
