I will keep your daughter and family in my thoughts and prayers. Im glad that the doctors know what is wrong and can be treated. Im glad that she is doing better. Thank you for the update.

Just some words of encouragement. My husband had rheumatic fever TWICE as a child and he does not have much heart damage at all. He does have heart problems now, but they are not related to the rheumatic fever. So, be strong and know that your daughter can recover and can lead a normal life. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this!

I'm glad you've gotten an answer to the mystery.

Doesn't the school district have to provide a tutor for her? You might want to check into that. May the Lord give you the strength you need to do what you have to do.

I know you must be relieved to at least have an answer. The not knowing can be so hard!

Keep in mind that kids are so resilient and she might surprise you with a full recovery sooner than you think. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers. Hang in there and don't forget to take care of yourself.

Oh, Dear God, I am so sorry to hear about your daughter and her bout with Rheumatic Heart Disease. It is so curable now and I know in my heart of hearts she will recover. There have been so many prayers said lately that I know God has a hot line just for us YTers. I also had RHD as a child-we were very poor and there was not money for meds but lots of hands on touching and healing and praying..I am well except for minor things. Your child is in His hands and those of the docs He chose.
She is special and you will not lose her. Prayers to all of you and those who provide her care..

Continuing to keep your daughter and you in my prayers. I am glad to hear that the Dr.s found out what was wrong and that she is getting better.

Children are very strong and can surprise us all.
