Need some opinions please Ok, we're getting married June 25th of this year, a little over 2 months away and I just can't pick out a center piece for the tables. And my fiance is no help at all "Whatever you want, hun" So I need some of you're opinions... I like them all equally and can't pick... (We aren't allowed to use candles in the church we're getting married, so candles/oil lamps are out) Our colors are lavendar and baby blue (so the flowers would be used accordingly) and it isn't going to be a sit down dinner, it's going to be a buffet type of dinner. There's going to be maybe 60 people there.... Please vote for your favorite centerpiece. Hey Summer, Congratulations! What a fun time but I do remember how confusing it all is. They are all very nice and up-to-the-minute, but my vote has to be for CP 1. It's bright and joyous and fluffy-girly and FUN!! Good luck! |
Hi Summer!! Congrats! How fun...a wedding, I loved planning mine. Okay here's what I think (I really get into this, I know, I'm a dork..but hopefully I can be of help). What is your wedding style going to be???...because CP 2 looks very romantic and more vintage ( I love this CP-I had the same colors in mine when I got married, pale blushes and champagne roses). CP 3 I also love, but this is more simplistic..clean lines, simple tie on the cylinder vase-beautiful as well, I see that in more of an "outdoor wedding" or a wedding by the water. CP 5 I love as well (I can see why your having a hard time choosing) I imagine this in a formal setting, only thing with this is that if you are not having a sit down dinner, will you be having cocktail tables and people will be walking around mingling??? Normally cocktail tables are high and therefore you may not be able to see the beauty of this arrangement because they will not be placed on a normal size table where you can see the roses when you stand up, you'll notice more of the "stems" if they are on a high cocktail table. I hope I didn't confuse you. Alright, those are my favorites!!!!!! Keep us posted on which you decide on. I hope I've helped! :) And good luck... |
i am going to have to do this soon too  ........ i vote for centerpeice 3 i love the simpleness of the pink roses in the frosted vace, and it isnt to tall, to busy, or to short :p |
i voted for CP 2 but i also like CP 5. i'm sure whatever you decide to go with will be beautiful. |
Oh they are all beautiful but Id have to vote for CP 3. Martini will be part of the wedding party too right? Can't leave her out! Wedding congratulations to both of you! |
2 Attachment(s) I'm going though the same thing. I like CP#3, it is very simply yet elegant. Here are some that I thought were also pretty. |
congratulations on your wedding!!!! I think cp#3 is sooo pretty it looks so elegant. cp#1 is also very pretty its colors are very fun and bright. which ever one you go with they are all beatiful :D |
I just got married in December... are you a member of www.TheKnot.com? It is free and offers a wealth of knowledge!! Good luck...feel free to ask me any other questions...by the way, there is a FORUM on the knot...it is great!! |

To answer your questions, Patty, we don't really have a 'style' or 'theme.' It's going to be a pretty small wedding/reception and pretty casual. It's going to be indoors at our church, in a hall with round 'cocktail' tables and it will be mostly minglingl. There'll be 2 or 3 parts where the guests will be seated (cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, ect) but other than that, I doubt anyone'll be sitting for very long... Keep the suggestions coming :D |
I voted #1 but really also like #3 & #5. Beautiful choices! All the best to you in your future. :) |
Let's see the dress, if you please.... |

The gown is breathtaking! You must be so excited! The centerpieces are all beautiful, but if I had to pick, it would be number 1. Best wishes! |
okay this IS too fun!!!!congrats on the upcoming wedding! i would go for number cp1, i would change the table cloth color to an ivory or white to really make those colors POP! since there is alot of color in the flowers. and i'd also remove the calalillie stems. i think that it would look simple and elegant. |
I love simplicity...so i go with the centerpiece #3. Loved the dress...you have very good taste!:) Thanks for sharing it with us |
1 Attachment(s) I went with number 2, it seems to be able to match with anything - you could play it down or up depending on how you want to do it. Your dress is gorgeous! How exciting! I had so much fun planning my wedding, and we were married in Vegas! :) |
i voted for 3 it is simple and seems to fit the sytle of your dress better. which i love by the way. oh i just love weddings. my husband and i never had one we were married the day after we met. now 7 years later it still is love at first sight. good luck on everything |
2 Attachment(s) Okay PinkMartini...I got married in December but of course spent so much of life before that looking at wedding stuff....help...you are dragging me back in....I just can't help it, it is so much fun!! We had a small, 60-person afternoon wedding...ceremony outside, reception inside...I live in Florida so the whether was perfect..crisp and cool but not cold...since aimee posted, I will too (I LOVE THIS STUFF)...here is one of me and my hubby and one of the whole dress on the model...oh yeah, make sure you do a practice hair do with your stylists...I didn't then hated what she did and tried to "fix" it myself...argh...oh well...must importantly, remember not to expect everything to go perfectly...if in the end it does, you're lucky!! Oh, anythinh else you need help/opinions on?? :p |
