| OH he'd be happy with either..i'm the one that would hope for a girl if we did..he says that to try and convince me lol..but he would be happy either way..and he also said he's happy with what we have..but if we had a chance to have another he'd love to..and considering he is such a good dad it's getting harder and harder for me to not want one..I feel that he took on me and my 3 I could do this for him..but...i am hesitate in the fact that i'm older and i do someday want me time lol

| I heard a story on the radio the other day and the topic was what was the best moment in your life. Well this man called in and said that he had met his wife when he was 29 or 30 and she already had 3 kids. He didnt have any. One day while he was at work like 6 or 7 years later he got a call from his wife telling him she was pregnant! And he said that it was the most magical moment in his life! I thought that was so touching and even teared up a bit That story reminds me of your hubby! If you are willing I say go for it! There is nothing wrong with having children in your 30s!

| that'd be my luck i'd pop out a whole dang litter lol They say women in their 30's ovulate two eggs at a time and not as often thats why more twins are being born cause more women are opting to have babies in their 30's..

| i have my tubes tied and I did a few months ago send my records to Dr. Berger. He is in N.C. and he has the best success rate in the world. He looked over my records and he said I was a good candidate. My chances of getting pg would be about 62% but hubby has a low count so i don't know if we could or not..they would prob have to put me on meds and maybe him too i don't know..

| They have a payment plan. So I could send the money here and there and if I decide to do it the money is there if not then i've just saved $5600. That way it gives me time to make sure. I think i'm just scared. after trying IVF 3 times and it failing it was upsetting and I wasn't sure for a long time if i wanted to take that chance of being heartbroken again. That was really hard. I thought if they put the babies in me it'd take but it wasn't the case.

| I had my youngest daughter when I was 35. I had a son who was 17 1/2 years old, a daughter 15 years old, and another daughter almost 10 years old. The day I brought my youngest daughter home from the hospital my son was getting ready to go to the prom!!! We experienced life from one end of the spectrum to the other end. Life was very interesting during that time. My youngest daughter will be 14 in a few days and my other kids are 31, 29, and almost 24. I have 3 granddaughters that are 4 years younger than my youngest daughter (My son had twins and 4 months later my daughter had a baby) and a couple of younger grandchildren. They all love to come and see Jaci (my youngest daughter)!! I'll give you a few pluses and minuses: Plus side: 1. Jaci keeps us young. We're at an age now that bodily we're wanting to slow down, but at 14 she's always ready to go. (My hubby and I are 49 now) We go to her games, take her swimming, ride motorcycles with her, etc.... It keeps us from getting to sedentary. 2. Jaci is such a joy to be around. She is the most polite and well behaved child I have ever seen. I think that because I had time to spend one on one with her it has helped her to become well balanced. 3. I realized how quickly my other children grew and really have appreciated and have taken time to really enjoy her. Not that I didn't enjoy my other children, but I was younger and much busier then. 4. The grandchildren have someone to play with when they come over. 5. We haven't had the empty nest syndrome yet!! Our house is always full of her friends, family, pets (we have ducks in a sink in the garage--but sometimes it's snakes, frogs, etc. We just had a tadpole in her fish tank!!) Never a dull moment! 6. She tied my other kids back to the family (when she was a baby) at a time when they were teens and taught them about how to be a parent. (She actually has 2 mothers, because my 15 year old just loved her and is still very close to her. She spends alot of time at her house.) The minus side: 1. Since I had more than 7 years in between babies my labor was like having a first baby again. I didn't handle the pain as well, actually the whole labor was harder. 2. Trying to balance all 4 children of different ages was a challenge. 3. My pregnancy was considered higher risk because I was 35. 4. I developed gestational diabetes and had to watch my diet. 5. There was a higher risk of Down's Syndrome and other things. 6. My grandchildren run past me to greet Jaci!!! I'm sure that there are many other things but at the moment this is all that I can think of. As you can see the pregnancy and labor were the hardest part for me. Jaci has been such a joy and I have never regreted having her. She was NOT an accident, but a very much wanted child. People (my husband included) thought that I was crazy for having another child when my other children were half grown. I hope this helps some in your decision. Sorry that this is so long.

| When blaine came to live with us he was 6 weeks..my oldest was 14 jess was 12 and chels was 10. so it was alot to get used to. There is one thing that really bothers me. I'm afraid blaine will be bothered by us having another. He is crazy about his daddy..me too but he's a big time daddy's boy and what if it bothers him if jay has one by blood..those things worry me. With me i dont' think it'd be an issue because i already have 3 and he does have my blood..his birth mom is my sister..but i wonder if it will bother him with his dad..i just have worries and it's nice to talk to you all..hash it out..you know..thanks..

| My daughter had her first child..my wonderful grandson at 36..she sailed through it like a champion. I really think having a baby in your 30's is like the 20's of years past. When I was young..giving birth at 40 was some sort of record..most women were going through menopause. LOL 40 was so old! |

| My aunt and I were pregnant at the same time, she is 38 and I am 27. Having our kids so close in age has been the most wonderful experience! My other aunt is 35 and pregnant with her first baby, a boy, due in Aug!!! My best friend had her first daughter at 37 yrs old and she is pregnant with baby #2, she will be 40 this year. I believe that if you want to truly know if you want another kid then hold someone else's infant, if you feel that feeling (ya know what I'm talking about) then deep down you want another one, that's just my opinion! AND... age does not matter when it comes to when you have kids, your gonna love them the same in your 40's as you would your 20's and 30's...
