| Gas? How much per gallon is gas where you live? The cheapest I've seen here is $2.60 and that was at a no name gas station. Even Arco's more expensive than that My fiance has a 2003 Ford F-250 and he can barely afford to drive it to work. He's contemplating buying a motorcycle to get back & forth to work. It's costing him almost $80 to fill up his truck and I have a feeling it's only going to get worse |

| We (thankfully) sold our Chevy Silverado this year. My husband has taken up car restoration and bought himself a bug, I drive a PT Cruiser, so thankfully we can still afford to fill them up. BUT gas is crazy. $2.60 on base, that price would be from the cheapest no name in town, it's outrageous. Lots of people on base are riding their bikes to work now that the weather is better (my husband included). Sucks!

| Gas here in Grand Junction, CO is now $2.50 ... but in the little town of Rifle, about 60 miles down the road where my husband's office is located, it is $2.70!!! He commutes in his Chevy Silverado and I have a little Ford Mustang convertible which I just drive around town. Patrick, of course, makes sure his tank is full before he heads out to his office .... saves .20 per gallon!!!

| About a buck a litre I think. Doesn't bother me, I got rid of my car when I moved downtown. I walk to work and everything and I mean everything (groceries, movies, plays, opera, clubs, sport venues,parks,shopping,etc...) are just a short walk for me. I highly recommend watching this documentary. |

| yeah i think down here is southern cali it is outrageous too, just wait until summer hits though, it will be even worse then..... i have a saturn, so it only costs about $20 to fill up, so i am VERY fortunate, cant imagine having an SUV. . . . My dad has a big truck though, and he doesnt use it anymore, in the warmer months when the gas prices are high he rides his motorcycle |

| We are at 2.40 gal....and it dropped on Thur from 2.55. I was watching the news and in Harrison Michigan yesterday it was 1.99....what a deal. We are outside Lansing. I have a Tahoe and it is running between 50-60 dollars a fill....unfortunatley that is about every 5 days. A girl I work with just bought a Hummer earlier this year...poor thing, it gets 8 mile to the gallon. |

| I remember when it was 0.78 cents a gallon! That's just crazy. LOL. You know, when I first saw this post in the forum (I had clicked "new posts") - I thought someone was asking about our dogs having gas, haha! Sully's dogfarts are disgusting, but luckily few and far between. Sorry, had to share. (I'm not crazy, just a little unwell..."
