I am in complete agreement with Deb. I know you care about the man, Hannah sweetie, but in this behavior is manipulation and he is trying to control you with it. You need to stay strong and be resolved that you have to move on in your life, and he has to move on in his.

No matter what happens to him, it is NOT YOUR FAULT. He needs help, but professional help, not yours. You have to be strong. Stand by your decision, be supportive if you must, but move on.

I care about you, girl. I hope you don't hate me for these words. I was raised by an abusive man, and I know that they are not always in control of what they do. But you can take control of what YOU do.

Thank you for taking the words out of my mouth. His actions are meant to get you back into his life. Believe me, I know from experience (not me, but my family member popped some pills for attention, but that's another story). Again, I know it sounds mean, but this is his problem to deal with. You got rid of him to get away from this drama, and this is how he is trying to pull you back in because that's the way he knows how. I DO hope that he gets better quickly and I hope you do too! We woman are a sucker for a man in need, but please don't fall for this trap. Take care of yourself because I know you don't want to put up with these kinds of stunts for the rest of your life.
