| Anyone in Alabama... ...having a problem with this big, mosquito-on-steroid looking flying bugs? Seriously...I don't know if it is just where I live, but I swear, these suckers are going to take over! They fly around everytime I walk through the grass and everytime I open the door a few more fly in! They are driving me nuts! |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Misty, you sure they aren't misquote hawks? The misquote hawks are HUGE but they don't suck blood...they are actually good...they eat the mosquitoes that do.

| I don't live in Alabama but i've been there twice and I have to say it is the friendliest state I've ever been to. I went in to pay for my gas and the people there treated me like i was family. I've never been to a place where there are so many friendly people. Just wanted to tell you that..

| I asked someone and looked it up when I got home and they are called "Crane Flys." They keep sneaking in the house when I open the door. Trixie is sure having a field day with them! Then at night when I think their all gone and my bedroom TV is the only light on in the house, they flock to it! So I have to get up....start swatting them...I've seen them before, but I swear, never like this...this many! The bats and birds are going to be well fed in Dixie this year! |
