Yeah, there is a HUGE difference, but ya know what? I think that a dirt bike is a good place to learn to handle this kind of bike! I don't know how to explain it better, I know my boyfriend would be able to though! We belong to the Phoenix Sport Bike Club and if your husband wants to sign up, there is A LOT that can be learned from it! They're a bunch of GREAT people and many fabulous riders that compete on international levels in the sport. And then there's an even balance of people like us!

It's much like a YT forum, only for sport bikes (like his GIXXER) and the people on there aren't just owners, they get out on the track or street daily.

I actually can't wait until Wednesday now! lol

WOW, Tricia! I think both of you are lucky, that's a great little surprise there! You'll have to take pictures of your little ones sitting on the bike (posing, not going for a ride, of course!)! He will be one very, very, happy husband!

My boyfriend has a GSXR 600 and he loves it! (So do i!

) Its his first bike and he went from dirt bike to street bike.. I know your husband will LOVVE it!! He layed it down about a month or two after he got but LUCKILY he just got a little road rash (but he wasn't wearing his jacket) so tell your husband to be careful!! Tell us how it goes!!

Wow! What a very nice surprise! My hubby has been wanting one and I dont want him to get one bc I think they are so dangerous! I would worry about him the whole time that he was gone!

Thanks ya'll, and girl I am about to burst. We went to the drive inn tonight, (and took the furbabies, left the human babies with grandma) and I was so excited he kept asking me why I was in such a good mood.
