| I have an 05 Mustang...is that close enough? I LOVE it! I had a '98, a '93 and a 84' in the past and this one is SO much better. Mustangs are notorious for sliding in the rain and fishtailing really bad around corners...even when you are going really slow. They widened the wheel base and include a factory stabalizer bar on the new body style and that problem seems to have finally been fixed. (Geez, how long did that take?) Only thing I didn't like up front, NO glove compartment room AT ALL...car manual is all that will fit, but big console storage area at at first it seemed like you couldn't see out the back, like you were looking through a tunnel to see what was behind you...but it only took a day or so to get used to. (I think it's worse for short people like me!) Opt for the upgrade interior (silver, not gray) I got the gray inside because it matched the outside--gray, but it's a rougher finish and every spot of dust gets stuck to it and makes it look dirty all the time. Sis got the silver which is a slicker finish and stays much cleaner. Wait a second...is this who I think it is...the one who sends me that Chevy crap all the time? |

| We have a '66 convertible tucked away in storage for hubby to fix up when he retires although it was in very good shape when we bought in, and a '94 convertible with 26,000 miles on it, 5 speed on the floor. It stays in the garage during the winter. Sure is fun to drive! The first thing I noticed when we got it is the '94 mustangs have a very distinct and different sound to them when you close the door. I can't describe it other than being mellow compared to most vehicles that sound a little more like ting. I also have a '02 Ford Explorer that I love, leather heated seats, dual temp control, sun roof. Love it! If our son was here, I'd ask him. He sold Fords up until about a year ago.

| ! I had an '02 convertible that I got rid of last year after almost 50,000 miles. I never had any problems with it, and it never needed any repairs. Mine was silver with a black top and grey leather interior. It was sassy and so much fun to drive!!!! I loved the car in the summer, but boy it sucked in the winter!! My neighborhood is very hilly and my house is on a hill, so if it snowed or was icy, I couldn't even get the car home. I got an Audi convertible for my birthday last August because it has the Quatro. That way I could have my convertible and drive it, too! You might want to touch base with Gina (Mustangbee) if she doesn't see this. She obviously LOVES her Stang!

| I love my car. I have an '03 mustang and had to trade it in because I had to have the new '05. My '03 was a V6 and my '05 is a V8, definitely get a V8 if you can. The whole point of the pony package is to make the V6 look like a V8. Comparing the two the handleing in the '05 is 10 times better than the '03 and another thing I notice is that on bumpy roads you don't feel like you are being jarred to pieces. One bad thing is no back seat room at all. The seats would be really nice if you didn't have legs...LOL
