| Kidnapped 4:00 PM This is totally off topic but since there are so many of you guys and you are such wonderful and compassionate people I just have to ask for your help. This morning at 6:30 AM a little 16 year old girl was taken at gunpoint and forced into a van. She was out running near her home in a small town only 20 miles from me. She goes to the same high school as my granddaughter and they play on the same softball team. In fact, they had a softball game last night and the parents and grandmother of this beautiful teenager was sitting right below us. Of course, every available law enforcement person is looking for her and they have an AMBER ALERT but so far no leads. I live in a small town in Kansas where there is very little crime and people don't even lock their doors or take the keys out of their cars. I guess EVIL is everywhere. I feel so bad for the family. I can only imagine the pain they must be going through. I keep thinking about my teenage granddaughters. Please say a prayer for Kelsie and her family. I know there is power in prayer. Thank you. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Everytime I read one of these stories it hits SO close to home .....I had that happen to me when I was nine and was very lucky..I was able to get away..... It's such a scary scary world out there and I said a prayer for that little girl. Her family must be losing their minds. |

Our times are WAY WORSE now then they were then and anytime we hear these stories it's usually a horrible horrible outcome... I'm praying that girl is one of the few that is found ALIVE. I just can't believe how evil men can be to think they can just TAKE a person off the street ...especially a child. | |

| Please Keep Us Posted! The most horrible thing is what they must be putting her through. I hate to even think of it. I hope that if/when she is found (alive OF COURSE!) that she gets counseling. I don't pray...but she's certainly in my thoughts. I hope that she comes home safe soon! People like this make me sick. Here is Arizona we have the right to carry guns and let me tell you what I'd do if I saw something like this taking place...well, you know! |

| I feel so bad for this girl. I am close to Independence as well. It has been on the radio all morning I hope news gets out everywhere so they can find this poor girl. Unfortunately they dont have a lot of info on the van except that it is white. I will be praying for this girl and her family.
