Not the smartest thing, but the weatherman really make a big thing about all storms here. Every tornado we have seen comes just to the edge of the river across the field from us turns and goes East or North.

We are under a Tornado watch right now also and it is raining cats and yorkies outside! OMG I think I might shut off my comp for a little bit, dunno yet we will see!

Supposedly they're supposed to hit here around 3-ish. They said that they wouldn't be bad if the sun would stay hidden and not cause the air to "perculate." (Funny, I thought that was what coffee does? )
Anyway, the sun's been out for the last 2 hours now, so...
Supposedly the storms are building downward into MS/AL from TN...or something like that. I posted somewhere earlier that tomorrow is the 8-yr anniversary of this huge F-5 that came through and killed LOTS of people and even got Bill Clinton down here to check it out. Suuuuuuper.

Davies, webster and one other county in kentucky is under thunderstorm warning..
I'm in indiana though. but thought i'd let ya all know..plus half of kentucky and southern indiana are all under a tornado watch..
I went ahead and put my sunday best on..don't want to blow away in my puppy dog jammies lol..

Reporting the weather from west central Mississippi, skies are sunny here! They dismissed schools here at 11:30 this morning cause weather reports indicated weather could be pretty severe by 3:00 (time school lets out and buses would be on the roads). So, as a precaution, they let out then. Well, it's 3:05 CST here and lots of sunshine and some wind. Hubby called a little bit ago (I'm still at work) and said it looks like most of it is going to the north of us but we may get some later on this evening from a "straggler" in Texas. So Bamafan, I don't think you'll see any of this weather until later.....much later....as you are farther east from me. To all in the midst of the weather, stay safe!!

It is 3:18 here and no wind...the air is very still. It is really overcast but not much going on. It was really windy earlier. I think it is going north of us as well - we are in the very north west corner of Alabama and there have been tornados and softball sized hail in south west Tennessee. We are under a tornado watch...not sure for how long...we are watching NBC - they have doppler radar. They just said that every storm that has popped up in Tennessee this afternoon as produced a tornado! There is a storm south of Fulton, Mississippi that they are watching right now...if that one fires up, it will go south of us. We will be ready to run if necessary.

I live in Richmond Indiana,east of Indy,and the skies are starting to get VERY dark right now,the sun still managing to pop out thru the dark clouds every now and then.The weather channel says to look for destructive hail possibly the size of quarters! Strong winds,and we are also under a tornado watch until 8:30pm tonight. Wow! I really hope my car doesent look like a gulf ball when I get off work tonight. That would definitely have to go on my list of stuff that sucks!!!

Now the news is saying tornado watch until 11:00pm,and possible GULFBALL sized hail, with winds that could be up to 57 mph!! Ohhhh....my poor car.

I'm so so about storms. Never been in a tornado hurricane type thing. Went to visit my folks in Texas and while we were at the mall they had a tornado warning, which we almost missed. A guy came in and said something which trigged the mall folks and they shuffled everyone down to the bathrooms. My kids were like !!

Then one time there was a storm in the middle of the night. My folks woke up and found the girls and dogs sleeping on the floor next to their bed.

I'm in North Alabama, a little north of Birmingham. Schools let out early but it's still sunshine here.

I've got the storm shelter airing out, and have my flashlights, radio & weather radio ready to go. If it gets bed, the kids and puppies and I will be headed to the shelter.

Oh crap...that storm line in Mississippi fired up after all....we are gonna rock and roll here in a couple of hours. This is not good. Hubby wants to go to town and ride it out there...LOL We were at the mall last time we were under warnings all day...the stores would open and close, open and close...it was a hoot!
